These are the rules for the WarioWiki. (WORK IN PROGRESS)
Sitewide
- No use of hate speech. This includes references to racism, antisemitism, or LGBTphobia.
- No profanity is allowed, but however, this is allowed in the official WarioWiki Discord Server with the exception of racial slurs.
- Never sockpuppet without an administrator's permission. If you wish to make a new account, you must first contact an administrator. Sockpuppeting while in a temporary or permanent block will result in a permanent IP block.
- No graphic, obscene, or profane imagery. This may include pornographic or shock content.
Discussions
- Do not harass anyone, which means that you should NOT use insults, start a war with them, or antagonize anyone. This may be common. due to that people may have opinions on such media and can sometimes be irritating. But this does NOT mean that you should target them for that.
- No links to suggestive content, which may include links to NSFW content.
Editing
- Use the correct use of grammar while editing. Capitalize all nouns, places, and objects.
- WarioWiki is written in American English. Please do not use British English on articles. (e.g. "color" as "colour", "favorite" as "favourite")
- Do not use adjectives or adverbs. For example:
Wario is a greedy developer who usually wants to make money off his videogames.
This above, should be instead written as:
Wario is a developer who wants to make money off his videogames.
- Vandalism is not allowed, examples of Vandalism include:
- Completely blanking the page.
- Removing a large amount of content from a page without a good reason.
- Adding false or unrelated information, which may include headcannons or fanfictions.
- Flooding the page with advertising or other unsolicited messages.
- Adding nonsense gibberish to the page
The block duration is based on the amount of vandalism done. Block may be permanent if large amounts of Vandalism have been done.
