WarioWare: Twisted! is the third game in the WarioWare series. It was released for the Game Boy Advance in Japan on October 14, 2004, in Australasia on May 19, 2005 and in North America on May 23, 2005. A European release was planned but was cancelled. Unlike other WarioWare games, it uses a tilt sensor for the majority of its gameplay, which allows for the console to be tilted in order to create input instead of pressing buttons (buttons are occasionally used). The game revolves around Wario and his coworkers going on self-contained adventures throughout Diamond City. Some microgames later reappeared in WarioWare Gold.

Story[]

One day, Wario was playing on his Game Boy Advance. He got frustrated at a particularly difficult game. Full of anger and frustration, he throws the machine off a wall causing it to break. He is upset at first but remembers his friend, Dr. Crygor. He asks Crygor to fix his Game Boy Advance for him. Crygor throws it into his latest invention, the Gravitator. The Gravitator shoots out thousands of new Game Boy Advance-like devices. Wario attempts to play but realizes the device has no buttons and is confused. Crygor tells Wario to tilt the Game Boy Advance. Wario then realizes that it is a motion-sensed device. 9-Volt and Mona appear who test out the Game Boy Advance and are quite amused by it. This leads to Wario's next plan to get rich.
