The following is a list of mutated creatures that appear in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island and Total Drama All-Stars. After Total Drama Island, Camp Wawanakwa was heavily polluted, resulting in the mutation of its flora and fauna. These mutants were transferred to the Fun Zone at Boney Island after the island was cleaned.
Amphibious anglerfish[]
The anglerfish creature is seen exclusively in "Runaway Model" when the teams are supposed to find an animal to dress up for the challenge. It is a gigantic, bluish-green fish with small legs and a beaver-resembling lure hanging from its head that is possibly used to catch food. Cameron sees the lure and thinks it's a beaver, but it is actually a mutated creature. He then runs away with the rest of his team in fear.

Fanged frog[]
A purple-fanged frog is briefly seen in "The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean." It tries to eat a dragonfly, but the dragonfly grabs the frog by its tongue and carries it away.
Fire beetles[]
While mutant fire beetles never appear on-screen, they were mentioned by Alejandro in Suckers Punched. While confessing his hatred of the nickname "Al," he reveals he hates it more than he hates mutant fire beetles and non-detangling conditioners.
Fire-breathing flower[]
Mutated, fire-breathing flowers appeared in "The Enchanted Franken-Forest." One of them appeared before the challenges started, where it burned Lightning's butt. Another one tried to burn Cameron during the challenge, but Zoey prevented the attack by hitting it. Later on, Lightning came across another fire-breathing flower and a giant fly, but he managed to avoid the fire that the flower blew out of its mouth. And once again, Lightning got stuck near a fire breathing flower and this time it burned his buttocks.
A fire-breathing flower later appears in the episode "Sundae Muddy Sundae" where it was planted in a pool of chocolate sauce as part of the challenge. It burned a bear's fur off of its body when it was seen in the beginning. The fire-breathing flower was later destroyed by Mal when he plugged a rock into it, causing it to explode and burn up the chocolate sauce.
Fire-breathing winged mountain goats[]
The mutant goats appeared in "Up, Up and Away In My Pitiful Balloon." After having their eggs stolen by Chef Hatchet, the goats attack the contestants out of revenge. After Zoey landed on one of them, she managed to gain control of them and order them to attack Scott for eliminating Mike in the previous episode.
In "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition," a mutant goat attacks Heather after she steals one of its eggs. A newborn mutant goat hatches from one egg and attacks Cameron.
Giant beaver[]
Giant beavers are not to be confused with the woolly beavers, as giant beavers have two tails and spikes on their backs while woolly beavers have tusks.
A giant beaver is first seen chasing after Scott in "Truth or Laser Shark" while he was looking for the McLean-Brand Chris Head. Two other giant beavers appear later as obstacles in the "Mad Skills Obstacle Course" as part of the challenge. Their role is to eat the support of some wooden platforms to make the contestants fall. They manage to make B fall, but he makes a female giant beaver out of mud to distract them. Later, they capture Zoey and try to eat her, but she kicks them both in the groin and they let her go.
Two giant beavers appear again in "Runaway Model," fighting with a two-headed bunny.
Another giant beaver appeared in "Eat, Puke and Be Wary," chasing after Scott after he dropped a tree on it.
In "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition," the silhouette of a giant beaver is seen on screen while Chris is explaining the challenge.
Giant beetle[]
The giant beetle appears in the first challenge of "Ice Ice Baby," acting as the "guard dog" of the junk pile. When the contestants try to take something from the junk pile, it attacks them and breathes fire. Dawn then gives the beetle its baby back and the giant beetle retreats. It later comes back in the second part of the challenge where Scott tells it to attack the other team.
The giant beetle reappears in Cameron's flashback in "The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean." The giant beetle was throwing junk at Mike, who changed into Svetlana and escaped.
The giant beetle makes his last appearance in "Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown." It serves as an obstacle for Cameron and Lightning.
Giant multiple-eyed chest-mouthed chicken[]
A giant mutated chicken with multiple eyes and a big mouth on its chest makes his first and only appearance in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition." It starts chasing Mike and Zoey after they try to steal its egg.
Giant crab[]
A giant crab is seen in the forest in "Runaway Model." It is seen crawling toward the fight between a giant two-headed mutant bunny and a giant beaver.
Another one appears in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition," when Mike and Zoey hide from it as it crawls past them. The giant crab also appears in The Launchback of Notre Game as a part of one of the penalty pits.
Giant fly[]
A mutated fly appears in "The Enchanted Franken-Forest." It attacks Lightning when he said that he wasn't afraid of it. Later in the episode, Cameron comes across the fly and it suddenly falls in love with him and kisses his head. Cameron is finally saved by a mutant squirrel that ate the fly.
The silhouette of a mutant fly is briefly seen in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition" in the background while Scott and Courtney are talking.
A giant fly is briefly seen during "The Final Wreck-ening," when a normal fly drops into the vat of acid, mutating into a giant fly, and then flying up to the lava pit and burning itself, before cooling itself off in the swamp water.
Giant gophers[]
The mutated gophers live underground and are enormous, hairless, and mostly blind. One mutated gopher appeared in the opening sequence of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, popping out of the ground and roaring at Dawn, causing her and other small animals to flee.
Lots of mutated gophers appeared in "A Mine Is a Terrible Thing to Waste." Some of them were under the ownership of Ezekiel, while others were attacking the contestants during the challenge. Cameron noticed that the gophers couldn't see, but they could however smell them, and many gophers hated the smell of Brick's boot.
The giants gophers reappeared in "Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown" when all the mutated creatures entered the Chrisisseum. They started attacking Chris, but they are thrown away by Larry.
One of them attacked Scott in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition." It frees him after it is hit by Courtney with a stick.
Four more gophers appear during the challenge in "Suckers Punched" as Cameron's opponent. All four of them crush him in a couple of seconds.
Giant octopus[]
The giant octopus is briefly seen in the opening sequence of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island in the right corner of the island.
One of the octopus' tentacles smashes the dock and an intern at the beginning Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er!.
It then makes its official debut in "The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean," attacking the contestants in the water. Cameron tricked it in to attacking the piece of wood the Mutant Maggots were floating on, causing them to land on the beach and win first place.
Although it makes its debut in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, the giant octopus' tentacles are seen many times before this, such as in the opening sequence of Total Drama Island and in "Crouching Courtney, Hidden Owen."
Giant raccoon[]
In "Backstabbers Ahoy!" a giant raccoon is used by Chris to scare the campers out of the main lodge because their breakfast was cutting into time that could be used for the challenge. Once outside, Chris notices that Lightning is missing. Lightning is then thrown out of a window by the raccoon.
A giant raccoon again appeared in "Eat, Puke and Be Wary." Cameron and Lightning put their tracking collars on its tail. Chef then fired his spaghetti gun at the raccoon thinking it was Cameron and Lightning, but he was then proved wrong when it took Chef's gun and shoved his head in it.
Giant tree squid[]
The giant tree squids live in tree trunks, where they catch prey such as birds, as seen in "Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er!"
Another one appeared in "Finders Creepers" where it attacked the Toxic Rats. It was in the tree where the souvenirs of the challenge were, but it was stopped when Lightning punched it in the eye.
A purple tree squid appears again in "Grand Chef Auto" flicking off a bird with its tentacle. It later attacked Mike during the second challenge.
The giant tree squid made its last appearance in "Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown" with the rest of the mutated creatures. It captured B and hit him repeatedly.
Giant turtle[]
* A giant turtle is seen in "Runaway Model." Lightning kicks at the turtle's shell, which angers the turtle to the point where it picks up Lightning and punches him repeatedly.
It briefly appeared in "The Enchanted Franken-Forest" emerging from the toxic bog and making Zoey fall.
It made its last appearance in "Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown" with the other mutated creatures. It stood on Sam while Dakota punched it, trying to free Sam.

Maggot[]
Literal "mutant maggots" roam the island in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, large in size and with the ability to puke out slime from its mouth. The first actual maggot encountered by the campers is used by the Mutant Maggots team in "Truth or Laser Shark" during the second part of the challenge as a "baton" for them to pass through the obstacle course.
A group of maggots make an appearance in "Finders Creepers." Sam falls in a grave and they start biting him because they were attracted by the kitchen grease that Dakota poured in the grave.
Another maggot appears in "Runaway Model," also in association with the Mutant Maggots team. Cameron ends up choosing one as their model for the first challenge, seeing it as the easiest animal they could get their hands on, ultimately dressing it in an early-60s style that doesn't go well with either the maggot or with the judges.
Lightning tries to cook a maggot in "Eat, Puke and Be Wary," but it was giving him a hard time when it kept puking slime and growling at him.
The dressed-up maggot that the Mutant Maggots used in "Runaway Model" makes another brief appearance in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition," during one of Courtney and Scott's scenes.
Piranhas[]
A couple of mutant piranhas appeared in the opening sequence of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, circling Cameron underwater.
Three mutant piranhas appeared in the beginning of "Backstabbers Ahoy!" They attacked Dakota when she was thrown in the water by Chris. They have spines now due to the mutation and appear to be more aggressive.
Rattlesnake seagulls[]
Rattlesnake Seagulls make several appearances in the season. Due to the effects of radiation, the seagulls now possess venom, fangs, and a rattlesnake's tail. The rattlesnake seagull first appears in "Truth or Laser Shark," sleeping in the camp megaphone, but it is awoken when Chris sounds a buzzer.
The rattlesnake seagulls make a more prominent appearance in "Backstabbers Ahoy!" as ammo for the challenge.
Two rattlesnake seagulls appeared in "Grand Chef Auto", pooping on Chris's mountain, then laughing and high-fiving each other.
Several rattlesnake seagulls appeared in "Up, Up and Away In My Pitiful Balloon." Scott took some of their feathers for the challenge in order to build his wings.
A flock of rattlesnake seagulls are seen in "Eat, Puke and Be Wary." One of them gave Lightning a high-five.
Two of them are briefly seen flying above Courtney and Scott while they are talking in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition."
Roaches[]
The roaches are seen exclusively in "Grand Chef Auto," where they were attacking and clinging on the contestants during the first challenge while they were searching for the keys.
Six-legged rat[]
A toxic rat is first seen in "Truth or Laser Shark" and is used by the Toxic Rats team during the "Mad Skills Obstacle Course" challenge as a baton for them to pass through the obstacle course. Because of the radiation, it has no hair, six legs, and glowing red eyes. It is more aggressive than the "maggot baton" of the Mutant Maggots, as it often bites the contestants. A two-headed version of the rat appeared a season later in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition," when it hatches from an egg collected by the Heroic Hamsters.
Squirrel[]

The mutated squirrels are the most prominent mutant animal featured in Total Drama: Revenge of the Island. As a result of the radiation, these squirrels now blink their eyes vertically, are hairless, have long tongues, and shoot lightning-like bolts of electricity out from their eyes. Throughout the season, it torments the contestants by firing electrical bolts at them. It first appeared in "Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er!" harassing the contestants the moment they arrived on the island.
Telekinetic mouse[]
In the beginning of "Bigger! Badder! Brutal-er!" a mouse with an enlarged head appears under one of the beds in the cabins. It is seen again crawling around at the beginning of "Ice Ice Baby." An eagle swoops down to pick it up, but the mouse's eyes glow green, and it uses telekinesis to toss the eagle around. It then crawls into the main lodge, where Cameron, while eating his breakfast, notices it scurrying around. He attempts to touch it, but the mouse becomes enraged and starts to levitate, causing all of the campers to flee out of the lodge, except for Mike who gets thrown out the window.
Teleporting frog[]
A teleporting frog is seen exclusively in "Runaway Model." Mike makes the first attempt to catch an animal for the challenge, choosing to go for the frog, but after he catches it, the frog teleports both itself and Mike off of a tree into midair. Shortly afterward, it disappears, as Mike falls to the ground.
Scott used a teleporting frog for his quiche in "Eat, Puke and Be Wary." Scott squeezed the frog and it puked slime on the quiche.
Another one is seen in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition" during one of Courtney and Scott's scenes.
Tentacled alligator[]
A giant tentacled alligator appears in "The Treasure Island of Dr. McLean" in the swamp. Zoey stands on it which angers it, causing the alligator to attack the contestants. It was later wrestled, beaten and defeated by a mutated Dakota. Two smaller ones then attacked Lightning.
The giant alligator reappeared in "Brain vs. Brawn: The Ultimate Showdown" as an obstacle for the challenge. It attacked both Cameron and Lightning, but Cameron managed to defeat it sending it crashing through the fence.
The giant alligator made another appearance in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition." It is seen passing near Scott and Courtney while both of them were hiding.
Three-eyed bear[]
A three-eyed bear appeared in "Runaway Model," reading a book while sitting on a rock. Other than having three eyes, the three-eyed bear remains relatively unchanged from the regular bear.
Three-eyed bird[]
A three-eyed bird appears in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition" when Duncan tries to steal her egg, promising that he will bring it back. When the bird begins to cry, Duncan starts crying too.
The same bird appears again in the next episode where Duncan has to face her in a boxing match. Despite giving out several threats, Duncan refuses to fight a defenseless animal and forfeits the challenge. The bird then shares a confessional with him.
Three-eyed fish[]
A three-eyed fish wearing a gas mask briefly appeared in the opening sequence of Total Drama: Revenge of the Island, near Cameron.
Three-eyed flying moose[]
A mutant moose with three eyes and black, bat-like wings in place of horns briefly appears in "Eat, Puke and Be Wary." It flies away as Lightning approaches.
Another one is seen within the Fun Zone in "No One Eggspects the Spanish Opposition." Zoey launches Larry's flower at it to make Larry attack it.
