Ariel Reznick was a minor character in Season 3 of The Good Doctor.
Biography[]
Ariel is the son of Caroline Reznick and her husband and brother (though it’s unknown if he’s older or younger than either of them) of Morgan and Cassie. When Ariel was young, he found that Morgan had made claims about being an only child while their parents were doing different careers which he took as Morgan refusing to be part of the family.
Ariel soon became a sculptor, with him and Cassie (who became a composer) following in Caroline’s footsteps as artists. The two soon found out that Caroline had developed cav-mals in her brain, something that they didn’t involve Morgan in because they still felt that she shut them out. They also got annoyed at how Caroline needed to have a lobectomy to deal with the cav-mals, which she refused to listen to as this would’ve meant that she’d no longer be able to be an artist. This eventually led to Caroline coming to St. Bonaventure Hospital, the hospital Morgan works at but couldn’t offer another option which led to Caroline leaving.
Although Ariel was glad to see Morgan who reciprocated the sentiment and agreed that Caroline needed the lobectomy, Ariel attempted to call out Morgan who stated that she got tired from hearing about her family who are artistically famous while Morgan isn’t when she decided to pursue medicine. After Morgan still failed to convince Caroline to have the lobectomy, she figured out an untested procedure that could’ve helped Caroline. Unfortunately, Caroline refused it and Ariel took her side which Morgan chastised him over but he then called out her attitude concerning their family. However, Morgan was able to get him and then Caroline onboard with the surgery and Morgan largely made up with her family.
