The Third Briefing Image

If you succeed in capturing the hareport and bringing back the kerosene, our hare force will fly a surprise attack on the Second Division of the N.P.A., which is stationed near the city.

Task: Find the trailer with the kerosene, and bring it back to the hareport. Also, take back the hareport and eliminate the N.P.A. units stationed there!
Result:
You have successfully carried out Operation “Rising Moon.” A large portion of the pigs' Second Division was destroyed, and their remaining forces have pulled back. Our capital city has been freed from the pressure of Iron Tusk's armies.

Walkthrough[]

Players starting position is the bottom left corner, on the north and the east theres trigger for 2 pig Scouts ambush. Theres a Tank near their starting position. Moving north will also result in encountering a Tank, Scout and a Command vehicle.

On the east from starting position there are pig Scout and Tank, carrot fields, houses and piles of carrots. Scout and Tank will move to the lower entrance of the hareport when approached from the west. More to the east theres a lone Scout.

2 Scouts constantly circle around the hareport. To the west of hareport theres a lone Tank.

The Kerosene Trailer is located in the upper left corner of the map. Like all trailers it has to be towed. 2 rescuable Towing Vehicles are located at the hareport so you don't have to spend SP on them. The devs didn't expect you to anyway because losing all Towing vehicles on the map results in defeat even if you have enough SP for a new one.

The Trailer is guarded by 1 Artillery, 1 Command vehicle, unburrowed and burrowed Tanks. Theres also 1 Scout on the dirt road leading to the lower hareport entrance. Lower entrance is guarded by 1 Tank.

The hareport is guarded by 2 Scouts, burrowed Tank, Artillery and Command vehicle. Entering the hareport pulls varied amount of units from the western portion of the map. Only these tanks are required to be dealt with.

All pig Command vehicles are harmless and aren't required to be killed.

Notes[]

The 2 rescuable Towing Vehicles give you enough vision to call the helicopter and rescue them quickly. Potentially advantageous. The game doesn't specify if the city 3 miles away is the capital city or carrot city.

The first players unit to move into the rich carrot fields on the east of the starting point will say something about it. The trailers don't have voicelines but they do activate the trigger. The Helicopter doesn't count as a unit.

  • Wow, that was a stoke of luck - Command Vehicle
  • Looks like it's harvest time - Scout
  • Looks like harvest time - Light Tank
  • Mmm, the carrots are ripe - Towing Vehicle
  • Ah, harvest time! - Artillery

The first unit to move into carrot fields between rich fields and the hareport will say something about it. Responses are the same as rich fields except for the Command Vehicle.

  • We have found a carrot field, we're making a pit stop. I fight better on a full stomach. - Command Vehicle

This mission shares location with the ninth Pig mission.
