Survivor[]
Penny was selected by Jake Billingsley to be on his Sook Jai tribe. When completed, Sook Jai was much younger than the Chuay Gahn. The tribe enthusiastically headed to their beach and scattered when they arrived. Eventually, the majority of the tribe fixated on Shelter. At the first challenge of the season, Sook Jai was able to come from behind and win due to Ghandia Johnson stalling at the final station. Despite the win, the tribe was still divided. Jed Hildebrand and Stephanie Dill focused on other things like food and water and didn't help with the shelter. Penny, along with Jake, Erin Collins, Ken Stafford, and Shii Ann Huang went to forage for food. Penny lead Sook Jai to victory in the Reward Challenge. Penny did poorly at the immunity, but Sook Jai won nonetheless.
Jed and Stephanie were joined by Robb Zbacnik and they slept on the ground. At the Reward Challenge, Sook Jai was leading again. However, Ken, Robb, Stephanie, and Jed all made contact with members of Chuay Gahn outside of the attack zone. This caused them all to be disqualified from the challenge and the resulting penalty allowed Chuay Gahn to win. Sook Jai was ready to vote someone off. They got their wish as Chuay Gahn won a mental Immunity Challenge. Penny voted against Jed because she felt he was trying to become the leader. Jed was voted out in a 5-3 vote. The tribe resumed its winning streak by winning the next reward and Immunity Challenges. The tribe won bananas and much to their surprise, chickens. The tribe ate a chicken and bonded.
On Day 15, there was a Survivor Auction. Before the auction, the castaways were given the chance to switch tribes, but no one took up the offer. Chuay Gahn won the next challenge, granting them immunity. Stephanie was voted out in a 5-2 vote. Robb talked to Penny and Ken about their honesty to him. Penny said that she was honest and Ken was lying. At the Reward Challenge, Robb dominated the challenge. The tribe enjoyed a traditional Thai Feast. The tribe bonded further and Robb had an epiphany about his behavior. Unfortunately, Sook Jai was outsmarted by Chuay Gahn at the Immunity Challenge. The tribe had an emotional moment before Tribal Council. However, this didn't save Robb from being unanimously voted out.
Both Shii Ann and Ken were leery of Penny. The tribe got Tree Mail and were given various colored paints. When the decorated tribes arrived, everyone was paired up with a member of the opposing tribe. Penny was paired with Brian Heidik. Then it was announced that the tribes would be living together. The group headed to Chuay Gahn's beach. Everyone got along well. However, Chuay Gahn trusted Penny the least out of the Sook Jai. Also, Shii Ann was getting too close with the Chuay Gahn's. At the Immunity Challenge, everyone was shocked that the challenge was tribal, not individual. Sook Jai lost immunity yet again. Shii Ann called Penny out for being manipulative. However, Shii Ann was voted out for wanting to switch sides. Life at camp was so much more awkward because they had not merged. Sook Jai lost immunity again, demoralizing the tribe. The tribe had one last bonding moment before Tribal Council. Chuay Gahn said they were sorry that Sook Jai had to go to Tribal Council, but Penny was able to tell that they were happy. In an emotional vote, Erin was voted out in a 3-1 vote over Ken.
Penny was saddened by the loss of her closest friend. At the next challenge, everyone saw portions of videos of their loved ones. Penny's featured her Fiancé and his friends. The tribes had officially merged and everyone would compete for the video. Penny was paired with Ted Rogers, Jr., but lost in the first round. At the Immunity Challenge, Penny came close to making it to the final round but lost to Clay and Ken, with the former getting immunity. The former Sook Jai trio tried to find an opening and were told that Ted was Chuay Gahn's outsider and would be the target of the day. This turned out to be a ruse by Brian to ensure Ted's loyalty; Ken was voted off in a 5-3 vote in a vote along tribal lines.
At the Reward Challenge, Penny once again was paired with Ted. She was out in the third round. At this point, Penny decided to cut her ties to Jake in order to save herself. Clay said that he wanted her in the Final Four, but he told everyone that in order to secure jury votes. In order to exemplify this, she gave Jake a hit at the three strikes challenges. However, at the Immunity Challenge, Penny was the first person out. Penny's attempts to backstab Jake backfired as she was voted out in a 4-2-1 vote. Only Clay voted with her as Jake was annoying him.
At the Final Tribal Council, Penny asked if the finalists bothered to get to know her. Penny asked Brian if he knew where she grew up and about any siblings she has. Brian failed miserably. Then she asked Clay if he would like to add anything. Clay told various accurate facts about her. Because he answered the question with flying colors, Penny voted for Clay to win though Brian won overall in a 4-3 vote.
