Patrick "Pat" Cusack is a contestant on Survivor: David vs. Goliath.
A key figure on the David tribe, Pat took the reins on building the shelter. Despite his hard work, many of his tribemates found him to be bossy and overbearing. After the first Immunity Challenge of the season, he was medically evacuated from the game due to a freak accident on the tribe's boat escort back to camp.

What's your personal claim to fame? Raising my children to be productive and outgoing people.
Who or what is your inspiration in life? My dad is my hero. He worked two jobs when we were young to support a family of six, while my mother was confined to a hospital bed from an accident.
If you could have three things on the island, what would they be and why? A picture of my wife and kids. They are what make me tick. That's all I need. They are my everyday motivation.
Which Survivor contestant are you most like? Cochran because he is a chameleon, like me. Hatch because he's a true-to-life person.
What's your reason for being on Survivor? My primary reason is obviously a million dollars, but being a young parent of three, the excitement of a tropical paradise is a thing I've never experienced. I've never really ever left New York state.
Why do you think you'll "survive" Survivor? My mental, physical, and emotional skills are unmatched. My dedication and determination are my strongest assets.[2]

Because of his upbringing and background, Pat was a member of the David tribe. Upon arriving to camp, Pat led his tribe in building their shelter due to his experience in construction. However, he quickly began to frustrate several of his tribemates due to his boisterous and apparently bossy nature. Nonetheless, he was seen as an asset due to his skill-set.
After the David tribe lost the first Immunity Challenge on Day 3, Pat sustained a back injury on the boat ride back to camp. Upon examination by the Medical Team, it was deemed that Pat's injury was too severe for him to continue and he was medically evacuated to undergo medical supervision. After leaving the game to be treated for his injuries, Pat made a full recovery.

- Pat is one of eight contestants to have never visited Tribal Council. The others are Jonathan Libby, Wanda Shirk, Gary Stritesky, Kourtney Moon, Dana Lambert, Jackson Fox, and Randen Montalvo.
- Pat is the only male David member who did not make the merge.
- Pat is the lowest-placing contestant to be medically evacuated, placing 20th in David vs. Goliath.
