Flames and Endurance is the season finale of Survivor: Pearl Islands.
Story[]
Day 37[]
After losing his closest ally Burton, Jon enquired about the women's end game plans to Lill and Darrah. This resulted in Darrah's inability to confirm or deny whether she would take Lill to the end. The tribe got Tree Mail directing them immediately to Tribal Council and to bring immunity with them. The Immunity Challenge was held at Tribal Council, and the jury competed as a unit along with the Final Four. The jury won immunity, leaving everyone vulnerable for this vote. Ultimately, Jon and Sandra were more threatened by Darrah's challenge strength than Lil's good reputation with the jury and voted her out 3-1.
Day 38[]
The final three participated in the Rites of Passage, allowing them to remember some of their closest allies, such as Skinny Ryan for Lil, Trish and Burton for Jon, and Christa and Rupert for Sandra. Lill performed well in this endurance based challenge, and once again Sandra bowed out early. Struggling, Jon desperately tried to strike several deals with Lill but she rejected every one. Lill finally won immunity but now was presented with yet another tough vote. Sandra felt nervous that she would go home, while Jon felt it would make more sense for Lill to take him to the end due to his reputation with the jury. Lill voted out Jon, making him the final member of the jury and meaning Lill and Sandra made it to the end.
Day 39[]
Sandra thanked Lill for taking her to the end, with Lill explaining that she felt Sandra deserved it more than Jon. The two felt proud of themselves for accomplishing so much in the game despite not being the strongest players.
Challenges[]
Challenge: Tribal Draft
The castaways must answer questions about pirate trivia and survival facts. The first person to answer five questions correctly wins.
Additional Stipulation: The castaways will compete against the jury, who will work together to answer the questions. If the jury wins the challenge, all four remaining castaways are vulnerable for the vote.
Winner: The Jury
Challenge: Set Adrift
The final three will balance on a pontoon for as long as possible, using only their hands and legs for balance. The last person holding on wins.
Winner: Lillian Morris

Lillian |
“ | (voting against Darrah) Darrah, you are too strong of a competitor. When you told me you wouldn't take me to the Final Two after I've saved you twice now, I have no choice. It has to be Darrah this time. | ” |
Sandra |
“ | (voting against Darrah) Umm, I can't say anything bad about you, because me and you had good times together. But you're definitely the strongest one here and for me to get further, you have to be gone. Adios. | ” |
Darrah |
“ | (voting against Lillian) Lill, I'm voting for you tonight because I'm just tired of listening to you whine and saying that you won't, uh, win the jury votes, when you know you will. | ” |
Final Words[]
Darrah |
“ | Well, that sucked. But, um, you know, it's pretty bad when people think that you're a physical threat when you weigh about sixty pounds soaking wet. Lill and Jon, you both are snakes. Lill, you act like you don't know the game. You know, it's been a great experience and I would do it all over again. | ” |

Lillian |
“ | (voting against Jon) Jonny Fairplay, I think the jury, they're going to wise up and see who the master of this game is, and that will put me to second. I'm hoping I have a better chance with Sandra, and this is why I cast my vote to you. Thank you. | ” |
Final Words[]
Jon |
“ | Pretty proud of myself. I, uh, never gave up, and I didn't play fair, and didn't plan on it. Happy that my grandma's at home and doing just fine. Can't wait to see her. In a game in which the old term, "to be the man, you gotta beat the man" comes into play, uh, I was the last man, so… Peace out from Jonny Fairplay. | ” |

“ | (voting for Sandra) Sandra, I am so happy for you. You deserve it. From the first day, when we were blood brother and sister, I was just thrilled to have somebody on my side. I'm glad l can be there for you now. I hope you win. | ” |
Tijuana |
“ | (voting for Lillian) Sandra, I couldn't understand if your strategy in the game, um, began, um, during the very first day, or if it was by luck that you got into the right alliance, and you decided to be upfront, so, with that being said, I had to look at who played the game, regardless of Tribal Council, to the best of their ability. Lill, I think that you did a phenomenal job. Um, you came in the Outcasts, and you came back in the game, and I think that you started to play it, um, by using your mind. So, with that being said, this vote goes to you, Lill. | ” |
