Share folders in Notes on iCloud.com
You can share a folder with one or more people. When you share the folder, all of the subfolders and notes within the folder are shared as well. Only the people you invite to the folder can view or edit its contents.
When you share a folder, appears next to the folder in the sidebar.
Share folders

Go to icloud.com/notes, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Move the pointer to the right of the folder you want to share in the sidebar.
Click when it appears, click Share Folder, click Share Options, then choose a sharing option:
Email: Click Email, choose the permission level of the participants, then click Share. In the window that appears, add email addresses in the To field, write an optional message, then click .
Copy Link: Click Copy Link, then add the email addresses or phone numbers of your participants. In Share Options, choose their permission level, then click Share.
Note: You can’t share a folder that contains a locked note.
Note: You can invite people using any email address or phone number, although participants need an Apple Account to view and edit a note.
Manage participants in a shared folder
The owner of a folder can add and remove participants, as well as anyone who has been added to the folder and is allowed to add other people. Any participant can always remove themselves.
Go to icloud.com/notes, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Click to the right of the folder in the sidebar.
Do any of the following:
Add participants: Click Add People at the bottom of the participants list. When a person has been invited but hasn’t yet accepted, Invited appears below the person’s name.
Manage permissions: Hold the pointer over the person’s name, click , then choose whether the person can make changes or only view the folder. You can also allow the person to add other people.
Remove participants: Hold the pointer over the person’s name, then click and choose Remove Access.
Tip: You can also click the View Participants button on a note in a shared folder, then click Manage in Shared Folder to adjust participants’ permissions for the folder.
Remove yourself from a shared folder
If you’re a participant, you can remove yourself from a shared folder.
Go to icloud.com/notes, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Click button to the right of the folder in the sidebar.
Hold the pointer over your name, then click and choose Remove Me.
Stop sharing a folder
Go to icloud.com/notes, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Click to the right of the folder in the sidebar.
Do any of the following:
Stop sharing with all participants: Click Stop Sharing.
Stop sharing with just one participant: Hold the pointer over the person’s name, then click and choose Remove Access.
Note: You must be the owner of a folder to stop sharing it.
