Receive notifications for iCloud apps on your PC
You can choose to receive notifications from your iCloud apps on your PC, even when you don’t have an iCloud.com page open (not available in all countries or regions).
Note: This option is only available if you’re using a non-Apple PC and using Firefox, Chrome, or Edge as your web browser. If you’re using an Apple device, you won’t see this option, but you can receive app notifications on your device. See Notifications settings on Mac and Change notification settings on iPhone.
-
Go to icloud.com/settings, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Tip: If you’re already on iCloud.com, you can also click your Apple Account photo or in the top-right corner of the window, then click iCloud Settings.
-
Below Browser Notifications for Apps, click Manage Browser Notifications.
Turn on the apps you want to receive notifications from:
iCloud Mail: You’re notified every time you receive a new email.
iCloud Calendar: You’re notified every time you’re invited to events or shared calendars, and when there are events or calendars updates.
Note: iCloud Calendar notifications are sent only if you chose to receive in-app invitations and updates. See Receive event invitations as in-app notifications or emails.
If you didn’t choose “Keep me signed in” when you signed in to iCloud.com, you stop receiving notifications after 30 minutes of inactivity. If you did choose that option, you stop receiving notifications after you log out or don’t access iCloud.com for 30 days. Notifications resume the next time you log in.
If you aren’t receiving notifications, make sure you’re using a supported browser and you haven’t disabled the browser notification permission for iCloud.com. Check your browser settings to see the current permission for notifications.
