"Starter's Tale" was a short story written by Peter M. Schweighofer and illustrated by John Paul Lona. It was published in the Star Wars Adventure Journal 4 by West End Games in November 1994.
Plot summary[]
The story was told from the perspective of Starter, who elaborately detailed taking on the bounty hunters Beylyssa, Boddu Bocck, 4-LOM, Zuckuss, IG-88 and Dengar and defeating them single-handedly. He was then rendered unconscious by Boba Fett, who delivered him to Darth Vader. Escaping Vader's clutches, Starter stole an Imperial shuttle, the Tydirium, which he delivered to the Rebel Alliance.
