The Medal of Bravery

A medal was a form of award. The Alliance to Restore the Republic awarded the medal of Bravery to distinguished recipients. When a TIE pilot in the Galactic Empire died in the line of battle, a plastoid medal was mailed to their family along with a note thanking them for their sacrifice.
