Enid Vahr was an Alliance to Restore the Republic agent embedded with Vortex Corporation to discover any military contracts or technology affiliated with the Galactic Empire. He was very successful in this endeavor. Six months before the Demophon supernova he was transferred to the Demophon branch of Vortex. A few weeks before the supernova he made contact with rebels on Asteroid Base and claimed to have data on a new long-range concussion missile. He then vanished. Rebel agents later discovered that he had paid Jor Entel to evacuate him from the planet, and was murdered as part of Entel's moneymaking scheme.[2]
