A droidsmith, also spelled Droid-smith, was a craftsperson who specialized in the creation, repair, and modification of droids.[1] Several Anzellan droidsmiths worked on the planet Nevarro[2] around 9 ABY.[3] The Anzellan Babu Frik was a skilled droidsmith who worked with the smuggler gang known as the Spice Runners of Kijimi out of a workshop on the planet Kijimi. Another droidsmith built the droid D-O, but was killed by the Sith assassin Ochi, who stole D-O.[4]
