- "Ah! Good to be back."
- ―Wrecker
The Bad Batch barracks[4] was a barracks in Tipoca City's military complex reserved for Clone Force 99, nicknamed the Bad Batch, where they stayed when visiting Kamino.[2] It was the headquarters of the Special Operations Brigade.[5] The room was messy and filled with extraneous equipment. According to the clone Echo, who joined the Bad Batch in 19 BBY, the room smelled bad. The group had several bunks for sleeping.[2]
Wrecker kept a tally of successful missions on the wall next to the door,[2] with the tally reaching well over forty by the end of the Clone Wars.[3] After the group returned to Kamino following the Battle of Kaller and the subsequent execution of Order 66, which the squad was unaffected by, they entered their barracks. As the Galactic Republic was re-organized into the Galactic Empire, the squad began to have doubts about the new regime.[2]
The young clone Omega snuck into the barracks with her droid companion AZI-3 while the Bad Batch was away on a mission. However, she was caught by a shock trooper quartermaster, who had her arrested for intrusion. Omega would eventually be placed in prison with the rest of the squad, who had disobeyed orders on their mission. The Batch eventually escaped and fled Kamino along with Omega.[2]
After the Bad Batch deserted Kamino, their former member Crosshair, who had chosen to stay and serve the Empire, was given control of an Elite Squad. The squad took over the barracks for their own use. The room was cleaned out and new gear was placed inside for the group.[3]
