Jaguada-TEA

Jaguada was a desert planet and the only inhabited world of the Jaguada system, located in the Sith Worlds region of the Outer Rim Territories' Esstran sector. It orbited a star and had one moon. A colony world of the Sith species that was settled around 27,700 BBY, Jaguada remained a part of both the ancient Sith Empire and the old Sith Empire. By 533 BBY, it was the site of a bastion constructed by the Sith Master Darth Gravid and his apprentice, Darth Gean. Around that year, they fought a duel there that cost Gravid his life.

Jaguada was used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems for storage of war machinery during the Clone Wars. Near the end of that conflict, it hosted a garrison of Republic clone troopers, ostensibly to recover the Separatist technology that had been abandoned on the planet and its moon. In 19 BBY, the garrison was ordered to pursue the surviving Jedi Roan Shryne and his companions, who were hiding on Jaguada's moon. Following the Battle of Yavin, it was speculated that Jaguada was one of the ancient homeworlds of the Sith and that it had been explored and blockaded by the Galactic Empire. (Read more…)
