The Chancellery Secretariat was a suite of the Galactic Republic's Office of the Chancellor located beneath the Galactic Senate Chamber within the Senate Building of the Federal District, on the planet Coruscant. It housed the Chancellor's "working office", which itself held the Chancellor's Podium. Supposedly the Supreme Chancellor's place of work, the final Chancellor of the Republic, Sheev Palpatine,[3] operated instead from his formal office suite at the Senate Office Building.[1]
