The 4XB programming[3] was a type of programmer droid. One 4XB programming droid, DA1-4XB, worked for the Pyke Syndicate at the spice mines of Kessel.[1] DA1-4XB was freed during a uprising initiated by the droid L3-37.[2]
Behind the scenes[]
The 4XB programming first appeared in Solo: A Star Wars Story.[2] But it was given a name in the StarWarsKids.com video, Every Droid in Star Wars.[3] In Star Wars Legends the 4XB programming was called the 4XB Programmer Droid. The droid appeared in Escape from Balis-Baurgh in Star Wars Adventure Journal 1.[4]
