Sim Aloo was a Force-sensitive Human male noted for his patience, wisdom, and silence. He served as an advisor in the office of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine in the final years of the Galactic Republic, during the Clone Wars. Following Palpatine's reorganization of the Republic into the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Aloo continued to serve the new Emperor as his senior political advisor in the Emperor's Inner Circle for the duration of the Imperial era. Being Force-sensitive, he trained as a Dark Side Adept.
In 4 ABY, Aloo was one of six advisors who accompanied Palpatine on his journey to the incomplete second Death Star in the Endor system. Within the throne room, Aloo and fellow Inner Circle member Janus Greejatus met with the Emperor, a conference briefly interrupted by the Sith Lord Darth Vader and Moff Tiaan Jerjerrod, commander of the Death Star. Plotting to destroy the Rebel Alliance, Palpatine leaked the information of his own presence aboard the battle station to the Alliance as bait, drawing them into a trap. The Alliance launched a full-scale attack on the construction site, but, contrary to Palpatine's expectations of an easy Imperial victory, the battle culminated with the destruction of the battlestation and Aloo's death.
