Character

Scooter, also known as Incidental 37B, is an incidental character who first appears in the episode "Ripped Pants." He shares the same incidental model number with Incidental 37A (Tuck Tucker) and is classified as a hotdog-type incidental.

Description[]

He is a purple fish with grayish purple fins. He wears yellow shorts with orange flowers and wears a dark green cap as well. In his older appearances, his eyes are much rounder and more closer together.

Scooter is the only generic name Incidental 37B has been given in the franchise. It was used for a hatless Incidental 37B in The Adventures of Man Sponge and Boy Patrick in What Were You Shrinking? and The Adventures of Man Sponge and Boy Patrick in The Mega-Justice Collection.

Scooter is a very commonly used incidental character. He makes several notable and speaking appearances as well as non-speaking appearances. He is seen with Incidental 37A in many episodes. He was firstly designed to be a beachgoer playing volleyball against SpongeBob, Sandy, and Larry the Lobster.

He is seen in a volleyball team with Incidental 37A and Incidental 46 where Larry the Lobster easily manages to beat the three of them in a single hit. He then aggressively serves the ball after this.

He is seen next in line after Fred at the Krusty Krab. He is later seen at the Krusty Krab a second time where he is the first customer to receive a Krabby Patty from SpongeBob and Sandy using their karate.

He is seen near the Snack Bar and sadly walks away after SpongeBob devours all the hot dogs, he then is seen as one of the beachgoers playing volleyball with Larry the Lobster until their game gets ruined due to SpongeBob bursting their ball. He also appears as one of the kite flyers and is seen receiving a hotdog from SpongeBob's tongue.

He is shown to be disturbed and concerned during Squidward’s cruel prank on SpongeBob. Afterwards he tells Incidental 45 "poor kid."

He is seen in the Reef Cinema bathroom washing his hands next to Patrick. Patrick then asks him for soap but he tells Patrick to stay back due to smelling his rancid breath. He then sacrifices all his money to him and zooms out of the bathroom.

He appears as one of the teenage customers at the Kuddly Krab sitting at a table with Incidental 11. He also waves at Incidental 29 and Incidental 150 when they enter the restaurant.

He was about to enter the Krusty Krab until he becomes shocked from watching SpongeBob and Patrick run out of the Krusty Krab.

He is the last Bikini Bottomite to send a letter to Santa Claus. He writes his letter in Portuguese and remarks that he hopes Santa can read it. He is then seen trying to convince Squidward to come out of his house and celebrate Christmas. He later appears as a child with Incidental 68 when everyone was disappointed about Santa not arriving.

He appears with Incidental 38A where they find Mystery the Seahorse outside the Krusty Krab. They believe that she is a kiddie ride and Incidental 37B dares Incidental 38A to try the ride out, but when Incidental 38A inserts his coin somewhere into Mystery, she sends Incidental 38A flying away into the distance and he flees away in fear.

"Oh, that's real nice."

When SpongeBob is hiding inside a toilet at Mrs. Puff's Boating School's bathroom, he hears footsteps and thinks it's Flats the one who is coming, so he decides to "act natural." However, the one who walks in is Incidental 37B and sees SpongeBob as a real life sponge, then he says "Oh, that's real nice" and leaves, just for Flats to enter right after. He is also seen running towards Incidental 85 the first time the Bikini Bottom citizens threaten to beat him up.

SpongeBob and Patrick come to his house and offer him a chocolate bar, but Patrick creepily stares right at him, which freaks him out. Incidental 37B backs away into his house with Patrick's eyes following him in, and he then slams the door on Patrick's eyes.

He appears as a student in SpongeBob and Patrick's class in Mrs. Puff's Boating School where he laughs with the other students when Patrick says his name is 24.

He is seen in the front of the seven-mile spanking machine. After Incidental 27 enters the machine, he calls out "next" and SpongeBob runs away. Squidward then appears and asks him if this is where the line of the spanking machine starts.

He is seen as a businessman at Snail-Po headquarters when Incidental 41 feels a disturbance.

He and Incidental 106 become shocked when they see SpongeBob and Patrick roll into the Krusty Krab while fighting.

He appears as a prisoner in the Man Rayopolis timeline.

Mr. Krabs eyes his bucket of coins at the Fun Arcade and watches him plunge his fin into his bucket of coins. He also stares at Mr. Krabs when he raises Gary the Snail.

He notices Mt. Bikini Bottom erupting with Incidental 41 at the Krusty Krab. Later while all of the citizens of Bikini Bottom carry Squidward to the volcano, Incidental 37B plays a tape recorder of Squidward saying he is the most miserable person of Bikini Bottom.

He turns and becomes shocked when he hears Plankton yell out "Free Money!"

He is lastly seen during the riot at the Dr. Krabton's headquarters squirming in a pile of money.
