Secretary of State Christi Jacobsen is a member of the state Board of Examiners, which serves as the issuer of state debt and approves the sale of bonds for the state. The Board is chaired by Governor and includes Attorney General.
The state Board of Examiners is authorized to prescribe the form and terms of the sale of bonds for the state and take whatever actions are lawful and necessary for their issuance and payment.
