Graham Greene

Henry Graham Greene OM CH (2 October 1904 – 3 April 1991) was a British writer.
Greene was born in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. His family was wealthy and had owned slave plantations in Montserrat and St. Kitts.[1] He graduated with a second-class degree from Balliol College, Oxford. He was a journalist before he became a novelist.
Greene wrote novels, autobiographies, travel books, plays, screenplays, short stories and children's books. His Catholicism influenced his work.[2]
Greene had bipolar disorder.[3] He died of leukaemia in Vevey, Switzerland.
