Lemonade is poised to open its doors on Mission Street tomorrow (May 5), offering a fresh new fast-casual option for lunch and dinner. The SoCal-based chain has set up shop in the Yerba Buena La Boulange's digs, which includes the cozy outside seating area looking into the neighboring park.
According to CEO Alan Jackson, every Lemonade store is designed to suit its particular space and location, something designer Ilan Dei took into account when taking the sunny brand into the cooler climes of Northern California. As a result, bright colors, warm wood tones and large, open windows are part of the design in the 2,500 square-foot restaurant. The majority of the seating is located on the adjoining patio, which thankfully includes large heaters for those foggy summer months. The customization efforts extend to the menu (check it out here), which includes a few more warm dishes, and a selection of leafy green salads that are exclusive to San Francisco.
This location is the first of six that will hit the Bay Area over the next year, including locations in Palo Alto, Walnut Creek and San Francisco. Lemonade will open for lunch and dinner daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:05 p.m. on May 5.
