Loya’s is a family-owned Mexican spot that opened during the pandemic, an awesome spot for delicious classics like tostadas, pozole, menudo, as well as fresh, modern dishes like aguachile, quesabirria, and cauliflower tacos. There’s a breakfast menu as well, including a burrito: scrambled eggs with bacon or chorizo topped with red sauce and sour cream and served with refried beans and roasted potatoes.

And while it’s of course known for its Texan-friendly, sweet and savory kolaches, it’s almost as loved for breakfast tacos. Open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday/Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For breakfast (served 7 to 10:30 a.m.), daily specials abound, and include breakfast burritos, baleadas, and tacos, in addition to its set menu.
