Titan Dweevil is regarded as the final boss of Pikmin 2, where it is found on the final sublevel of Dream Den. Captain Olimar finds the lost Louie atop a pile of rubble, which raises up to reveal itself as the biggest known Dweevil in the Dweevil family. The battle takes place in a circular arena, where the beast uses its four treasures as weapons, comprising the powers of water, electricity, fire and poison. The Titan Dweevil changes its color depending on what the next attack will be, making its course of action relatively predictable, if not giving overly ample warning. Once all weapons have been removed by Pikmin, its vulnerable body is revealed.

Destroy the water cannon first - its water blasts reach farther than any other attacks. Toss yellows at the cannon, but prepare to call them if they get into trouble. Check on your remote group during blasts to ensure that your other Pikmin are unharmed. Blue Pikmin are immune to this attack.

Shock Therapist[]

Because of electric attacks are devastating to all Pikmin except yellows, you'll want to attack the creature's electric zapper immediately after you take out the water cannon. Toss PIkmin up to the charged implement and keep fighting until it's gone.

Flare Cannon[]

Once the boss can't hit your Pikmin with water, it'll be relatively safe to put non-yellow Pikmin on the offensive. Use reds to attack the monster's fire blaster.

Comedy Bomb[]

If your white Pikmin are up to the task, have them attack the boss's final part. If you're low on white Pikmin, use other types, but be ready to save them from the poisonous clouds.

The Disarmed Dweevil[]

After you strip the creature of its weapons, you'll be able to beat it with a squad of purple Pikmin, the largest and most powerful Pikmin. Attack, call the troops after the Dweevil shakes, then attack again.

Olimar's Notes[]

Titan dweevil

The Titan Dweevil in the Piklopedia.

"The largest member of the dweevil family, this fearsome predator carries protective components that frequently exhibit offensive capabilities, an evolution that may be attributed to mere chance. Another evolutionary theory is that the chemical contents of the containers carried by titan dweevils contribute to possible gene splicing. While other dweevils do not seem to choose the objects they carry, the titan dweevil appears to prefer shiny objects above all others."

Louie's Notes[]

"Eaten raw, this predator's luxurious legs are bold and full flavored. What a satisfying crunch!"
