Roller Coasters is a 4-Player and Duel minigame in Mario Party DS. The name is derived from the amusement park ride of the same name.
It is set in a large sandbox, in which the players' characters are standing on top of rubber balls in their player color.
Gameplay[]
The players must race to be the first to reach the sandcastle on the other end of the sandbox. To do so, they must slide the stylus in the direction they want to go. Along the way, players will encounter buckets, houses made of building blacks, and moving toy trucks that they must dodge to avoid bouncing back. The player who reaches the sandcastle first wins.
In the Duel variant, if both players break the record, the "New Record" jingle will play first before announcing that it was a tie.
