Randnet is an online service published and developed by Nintendo for the obscure and commercially-failed 64DD. It was released on December 15, 1999 along with the release of the 64DD, however the Randnet Disk has not been released until February 23, 2000. In October 2000, Nintendo gave all users to Randnet as a free service until the discontinuance of the 64DD on February 28, 2001. As of February 28, 2001, there has been 15,000 Randnet users.
