Mario Artist: Communication Kit (マリオアーティスト・コミュニケーションキット,Mario Ātisuto Komyunikēshon Kitto?) was a CD for the Nintendo 64's Nintendo 64DD in Japan that allowed users to share their creations they made on the three other Mario Artist games including Mario Artist: Paint Studio, Mario Artist: Talent Studio, and Mario Artist: Polygon Studio, over the internet through the Net Studio service. The service started in December of 1999, and ended in February of 2001. The service would contain contests that had player making creations on the three different games trying to compete for the top spot. If players owned Paint Studio and the Communication Kit, they could unlock features in the Paint Studio that weren't available previously.
