NHL '94 is a sports game (focused on ice hockey) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was released under the title NHL Pro Hockey '94 in Japan.

Plot[]

The game is based on the 1993–1994 NHL ice hockey season.

Gameplay[]

The game kept most of the features from it's predecessor NHLPA Hockey 93. The different game modes are Exhibition Game, Stanley Cup Playoffs: Single Game Series, Stanley Cup Playoffs: Best of Seven Series, and Shootout Mini-Game. The fighting feature was removed from this game. But new features included a one-timer, All-Star teams and team-specific organ songs.

The Boston Bruins and Los Angeles Kings are featured on the box art.

As in the real-world sport of ice hockey, the object is to score more goals than the opposing team to win the game.

Teams[]

Since the game is licensed by the National Hockey League and it's Player's Association, all the real-world NHL teams and players from that year are included in the game.
