Diskcheck v1.01 is a Wii channel that appeared in prototypes for the Wii.
It can be used to check the I.D. of a Wii disc.
It bypasses disc ID restrictions to check the ID of pirated discs, ID-changed discs, and even discs from other regions. It could also theoretically check the ID of the WIi Startup Disc, however, no one besides Nintendo has one of those (until one was found years later). It can also check whether a disc has a Wii ID.
