Reception[]
Upon reveal, the add-on has recieved mostly favorable feedback, with praise toward the course choices; although the implemented graphics were more "mixed" as many compared it to that of Tour rather than the "realistic" design of the base game.[1]
When Wave 5 released, GBA Sunset Wilds was received poorly by fans due to the sun not setting like the original.
Trivia[]
- Every track was ported from Mario Kart Tour's files, even if it hadn't released in Tour yet at that current time. (Ex. All "New" tracks in the trailers, GBA Snow Land, GCN Waluigi Stadium) All have been released in Tour, since then.
