Game Description[]

This game is a mini game compilation of many board games, table games, puzzle games, card games and others. Unlike other similar compilation games on the DS, this game doesn't require any unlocking of the minigames and all of them are available from the start.

Despite this having a similar logo to the 50 More Classic Games video game and that game having a followup sounding title, this game is not really a prequel to that game. 50 Classic Games and 50 More Classic Games even share some of the same minigames with the same exact puzzle solutions just with different visuals between them.

This game is also known as Classic Games: Premium Selection in the UK and France and has very different box art but it is the same game.

This game is also known as 50 Denk Und Logikspiele (Germany) and 50 Jeux Incontournables (France) with different box art but it is the same game.

This game is also not related to the 100 Denk & Logikspiele video game despite the similar title.

Reception[]

This game wasn't reviewed by a lot of official websites but the general public rates it as average, often with 3/5 stars on many public donated rating websites. Despite this, the game sold pretty well in the USA almost reaching 1 million sales from this region alone. The game didn't sell well in European regions though, selling less than 0.05 million.

Rondomedia gave a review copy to Planet DS (German website) but they ended up giving it a 49%. They called attention in particular to the lack luster visuals and lack of multiplayer options saying "The "50 mind and logic games" have a couple of powerful problems: It starts with the fact that the collection is put together a little carelessly. Sure, we don't expect any visual masterpieces or musical highlights. However, Nintendo's "42 classic games" have proven that both can be at least slightly better." (Google Translated)
