Pokémon: 2.B.A. Master is the first English soundtrack album spun off from the Pokémon anime. The album consists of three songs originally featured in the anime's first season, plus nine new songs.
A different version of "Pokémon (Dance Mix)" appeared at the start of A Sneak Peek at Pokémon.
"2.B.A. Master", "Viridian City", "What Kind of Pokémon Are You?", "My Best Friends", "Double Trouble (Team Rocket)", and "Together Forever" were all featured as short music videos shown after episodes of the anime from "Riddle Me This" to "The Rivalry Revival".
In Pokémon Puzzle League, instrumental versions of "2.B.A. Master" (featured as Ash's theme), "Viridian City" (Brock's theme), "What Kind of Pokémon Are You?" (Erika's theme), "Everything Changes" (Sabrina's theme), "My Best Friends" (Blaine's theme), "Double Trouble (Team Rocket)" (Team Rocket's theme), "Together Forever" (Ritchie's theme), and "Pokémon (Dance Mix)" (Lorelei's theme) appear as background music.
"My Best Friends", "Everything Changes", "Misty's Song", "What Kind of Pokémon Are You?", "The Time Has Come", and "Double Trouble (Team Rocket)" were all featured in Pokémon Live!
