There's this super useful thing called Wiimmfi that I've used on my Wii for a while now. It also works for DS, so I'd set that up. Highly recomend it.

I know Wiimmfi would work on my 3DS firmware on my DS connections. But my wifi security connections is what I’m worried about because my wifi has WPA security and my DS only supports WEP security.

Okay, I'll be honest, I have no idea what any of that meant. I don't know of any alternatives to Wiimmfi, though.
