The Shard is a skyscraper located in London, England. It was used as a communications tower by Talos and Soren during the Battle of London.

Witch[]
The Witch appeared at the Shard, planning on using the Dark Scepter, but was interrupted by Kaecilius, who tried to get her to give him the Scepter. The Witch revealed that she was more experienced in Magic than Kaecilius at first believed, and attacked him. The Witch won, and Kaecilius was later helped by Wong, Daniel Drumm, and Tina Minoru. The four Masters of the Mystic Arts resolved to work together in order to recover the Scepter, and went after the Witch.[1]
Battle of London[]
In 2024, while Quentin Beck was commanding the Stark Industries Combat Drones to portray the Elemental Fusion, Talos and Soren, disguised as Nick Fury and Maria Hill at the time, used the Shard as a communications tower to communicate with him. They knew at the time that Beck had betrayed them, though they still acted as if they were part of his team.
After Talos asked Beck for a status report, his speechwriter could not come up with an answer which satisfied him, so he lied, saying that the Elemental was drawing energy from Earth's core. Talos could tell that the line was a lie, and this distrust from both parties lead Mysterio to attempt to kill Talos with a drone, though Soren protected him using a rocket launcher from the building's roof.[2]
