The Little Guy is the second episode of the first season of I Am Groot.
Synopsis[]
It's hard to be the little guy, but when Baby Groot accidentally uncovers a civilization of miniature blue aliens, the tables are turned. At first intimidated by the seemingly enormous tree toddler, the Grunds soon discover he's the hero they've been waiting for.
Plot[]
Groot finds twigs on a tree stump. Five minutes later, he has made an entire fort out of the twigs. Suddenly, a Vyloo with a long trunk knocks Groot off of his fort. A Manta Bird then grabs the Vyloo to eat it, knocking down the fort. Groot screams in anger for thirty-seven minutes before falling down out of exhaustion. On the ground, he lifts up a rock and finds a race of tiny Grunds in the hole. Groot terrorizes them. He blows on them, throws a twig, stomps beside them until they've had enough and start firing at Groot with weapons. Out of fear, Groot hides on the ground until he farts a leaf. He sees that the Grunds use it for food and happily gets more. However, on the way back with a pile of leaves, he accidentally steps on all of them. He carefully puts the rock back on top of them before leaving like nothing happened. A few Grunds survive and pop up out of the rock.
