The Guardians of the Galaxy went to Grundar and left Groot to enjoy himself. He came across a series of sticks and built them into a fort, which a Manta Bird destroyed, causing Groot to have a meltdown for thirty-seven minutes. Groot then lifted a rock and saw the Grunds, and started having fun with them by blowing on them and causing earthquakes. However, the Grunds' smaller size resulted in them being terrorized by Groot's actions, causing them to fight back with their weapons. Groot collapsed in fear, but farted a leaf, exciting the Grunds as they started to eat the leaf. Groot got a series of leaves and rush to bring them to the Grunds, but accidentally stepped on them. Believing the Grunds to be dead, Groot covered their civilization with a rock and fled. However, the Grunds survived and poked their heads out from the dirt.[1]
