The S.W.O.R.D. Response Base is a S.W.O.R.D. base installed around the town of Westview, New Jersey as a response to the Westview Anomaly caused by Wanda Maximoff. It was later absorbed into the Hex and became a traveling circus.

Behind the Scenes[]
- The cast and crew of WandaVision referred to the S.W.O.R.D. Response Base as the "pop-up base." It was inspired by real-world military responses to chemical and nuclear incidents for the purpose of being more realistic.[1]
- Jac Schaeffer's original pitch had a therapist working on the S.W.O.R.D. Response Base who was going to have sessions with Monica Rambeau due to her mother's loss, as all members of the writers' room saw the show revolving around mental health. However, the writers ultimately concluded that there wasn't enough time for Monica and the therapist to have any sessions.[2]
