Deal Breaker is the fifth episode of the first season of the web series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot.
Synopsis[]
Yo-Yo finds herself held captive by Ramon and discovers he has a connection to an old foe of S.H.I.E.L.D.. When some unexpected help arrives, Yo-Yo gets her chance to exact vengeance against the man who caused her family pain.
Plot[]
Yo-Yo Rodriguez regains consciousness and finds herself tied to a chair and Victor Ramon conversing with members of the Watchdogs. The Alpha Dog expresses impatience and advises Ramon to open the package he has brought. Ramon reveals it to be a 0-8-4, similar to the one that Coulson's Team found in Peru in 2013,[1] stating that it is a weapon that can be used against Inhumans. He offers to demonstrate its effects on Rodriguez, but before he can do so Quake arrives and attacks. She frees Rodriguez and they incapacitate Ramon's henchmen before taking cover. Johnson advises Rodriguez to go after Ramon while she takes care of the Watchdogs.
Rodriguez pursues and corners Ramon. He surrenders, but she states that she has no intention of taking him back to prison. He urges her to kill him, stating that she will be doing the same to him that he did to her cousin. Rodriguez denies this, affirming that what he did was murder while what she is doing is justice.
