The Assassination of Armand Duquesne III is the murder of Armand Duquesne III by Eleanor Bishop on behalf of Wilson Fisk.

During a charity gala, Armand Duquesne III had an argument with Eleanor Bishop.[2] He told Bishop that he was aware of her connections with Wilson Fisk.[3] Duquesne then proceeded to threaten Bishop and walked away.[2]

At the request of Wilson Fisk, Eleanor Bishop went to Armand Duquesne III's brownstone and stabbed him.[3] She left his body laying in the brownstone and left.[2]

The description matches the masked assailant from last night's auction robbery. Kate Bishop discovered Armand Duquesne III's body in his home, causing her to begin investigating into the murder.[2] Suspecting Jack Duquesne due to the murder being performed with a sword, Bishop accused her soon-to-be stepfather of the murder.[4] She asked Clint Barton for help investigating the murder, and they investigated together but were stopped by Jack Duquesne.[5] Jack Duquesne was framed for the murder following Bishop's suspicions, but remained confident that he would be let out as he had not committed the crime.[1] Eleanor Bishop met with Wilson Fisk and asked to pull out of the organization,[3] which Yelena Belova caught on film[1] and sent to Kate. Fisk sent the Tracksuit Mafia to kill Eleanor, and Kate and Barton protected her, successfully fending them off.[3]
