The S.H.I.E.L.D. team reunites after a year
- At the speakeasy in New York City, "Phil Coulson" arrives via hologram for an agreed meeting with his old team. Daisy Johnson also arrives, then Yo-Yo Rodriguez, Melinda May, and Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons. Alphonso Mackenzie arrives late, saying there was a situation in Moscow that needed his attention, which is unfortunately classified. He says he is enjoying his new offices, having a view finally. Rodriguez tells them she is not stationed there currently, in fact on assignment chasing an 0-8-4 with her team, joking that Piper might be regretting her choice of reward for protecting the Containment Module.[1][22]
- Simmons asks May about her new job, which May says she finds exhausting. Leo Fitz and Simmons joke about their exhaustion being parents, and Johnson mocks them, pointing out they retired, but they talk about how tiring being parents are. "Coulson" says that Alya is great, as Simmons updates them about Alya now learning to swim and wishing she could design a fish. Mackenzie checks she got his present, and Fitz thanks them all, asking they refrain from presents beyond one a year. Simmons tells them they got a nice letter from Daniel Sousa, and Johnson says she got him a typewriter, which had excited him. She updates them that things are going well with them as they are enjoying their journey together, and he is made for their line of work and says "hi".[1][22]
Melinda May at the last team meeting
- Rodriguez disconnects from the call, as she is driven by the Life-Model Decoy James Davis made by Fitz and Simmons, who Piper, also in the car, is becoming increasingly frustrated with, to Rodriguez's amusement. Rodriguez opens her car door and speeds out to her target compound.[1][22]
- May tells Mackenzie she will be sending him some name recommendations, and asks "Coulson" to come by during his travels to tell some stories to S.H.I.E.L.D. newcomers. She disconnects from the call, and Flint finds her, telling her she is late to class. May jokes that since she is giving the lecture, she is not late, but "dramatic", as they make their way through the Coulson Academy.[1][22]
Simmons watches as Fitz plays with their daughter and smiles
- Mackenzie checks with "Coulson" that he has received the package from him. He gives him the code 1-3-6, saying there is an additional present inside. "Coulson" asks if it is what he thinks it is, and Mackenzie admits he could not help himself, still a mechanic at heart. He disconnects from the call and returns to work aboard his Helicarrier.[1][22]
- With only Johnson and "Coulson" left on the call, Johnson says she is glad he is seeing the world, but that he has a talent for finding lost people with promise, as is shown by what he put together with their team. He asks how things are with Kora, and Johnson says Kora is doing well because of someone believing in her, the way "Coulson" once did for her. "Coulson" asks her to call him when they get back. He disconnects, and Johnson does too.[1][22]
Quake's new team in outerspace
- "Coulson" retrieves the package from Mackenzie and opens it, finding his deactivation button for when he is ready, and car keys. "Coulson" presses the keys and hears the vehicle unlock nearby, finding it to be a familiar red Corvette. He gets in the new L.O.L.A., dons his shades as he had done so often, starts it up, and activates its jets, as it transforms into a sleeker, black, more upgraded version of the flying car. He notes the upgrade as "cool", then starts moving, flying off to his next adventure.[1][22]

Kthara sends a message
- In Salem, Gabriella Rosetti assures Mr. Cavallo that her associate, Daimon Helstrom, is coming. Helstrom arrives and Mr. Cavallo takes him and Rosetti into his home to help with his son, Archer's possible possession. Helstrom rejects the offer of a Bible and visits the restroom before ascending the stairs to Archer's room.[39][3]
Daimon Helstrom sets fire in front of Archer Cavallo
- As Helstrom leaves the house with Rosetti, he tells the Cavallos that their son was lying and that they have been incompetent parents. Rosetti tells him he is too insensitive, but he explains he cannot help that type of family and leaves to return to Portland.[39][3]
- In San Francisco, Ana Helstrom holds an auction with her friend and colleague Chris Yen, where they spot their target, Edward Tate, in attendance to bid on a sword of Napoleon's. Helstrom reminds Yen to kill the security feeds for their plan.[39][3]
- Assassination of Edward Tate: Ana Helstrom talks to Tate after the auction, pretending to flirt with him. She then reveals she procured Napoleon's sword just to lure him there, revealing she knows he has killed seven women. She uses her powers to make him choke, before shoving him off the balcony to his death.[39][3]
Keith Spivey is killed
- Ana Helstrom uses a dating app to have a one-night stand with a woman whose name begins with B to help relieve her stress.[39][3]
14th[]
- Cameron Tate is named CEO and COO of Edward Tate's company, stabilizing the company's sudden stock decline.[39][40]
- At Gateway University, Daimon Helstrom delivers a lecture on pain, fear, and Lawrence Kohlberg's stages of moral development. He notices Louise Hastings at the door, coming to visit.[39][3]
Daimon Helstrom talks to Louise Hastings
- The San Francisco Police Department find a suicide note on Edward Tate's body, leaving them to rule his death a suicide.[39][40]
- Ana Helstrom arrives at work, where Yen tells her that he has successfully kept the auction out of the news, but complains she is being reckless. She finds she has a missed call from Caretaker, and Yen explains he also visited, having mentioned a crib in Colma.[39][3]
- At Saint Teresa's, Daimon Helstrom and Hastings are joined by Gabriella Rosetti. Hastings shows them the security footage of Spivey's escape. Helstrom decides to visit his "mother", and Rosetti insists on joining so she can report to the Vatican, but he refuses her company.[39][3]
- Helstrom enters his "mother's" cell, where he notices the symbol she has drawn on the wall and tries to talk to her. He attempts to jolt his mother's memory with a story of her kindness from his childhood. She appears to respond, but it is the demon taunting him. The demon claims Helstrom's memories are tainted by sentiment, and that his mother had tried to abort him by drinking. He inquires about the events of the night before and she eventually says she sent Keith Spivey and the patients to see "an old friend", before declaring the conversation to be finished.[39][3]
- Information about "Tate's suicide note" are leaked, saying that the note contains a confession to several murders. The lead police detective on the murders refuses to comment beyond saying that the murders could have been related.[39][40]
Ana Helstrom finds Keeper's Skull
- As Helstrom and Caretaker investigate, they see the remains of the people who came the night before. Caretaker shows her the sarcophagus, which is broken open with a skeleton inside with only one eye - ancient and demonic. Caretaker identifies it as a Keeper, and they wonder whether it could have been keeping Helstrom's father at bay. She nonetheless refuses to reach out to her brother. Caretaker warns Helstrom not to touch anything, but she decides to take the Keeper's Skull.[39][3]
Gabriella Rosetti talks about Kthara
- Rosetti contacts the bishop of the archdiocese with an update about Saint Teresa's and Helstrom.[39][3]
15th[]
- At 22:57 on the 14th local time, Daimon Helstrom reaches out to Ana by text asking to talk. She reads the message, but puts her phone aside and decides to get back to work.[39][3]
Daimon Helstrom tattoos over the scar
- Ana Helstrom decides to cut her finger and smear blood on the Keeper's skull. She holds her hand to it to see how it will respond, then is scared when she sees an eyeball jump up from its empty socket. She notices her blood gravitating to the demonic symbol on the forehead, the same one from the catacomb.[39][3]
- In the morning, Caretaker digs a grave to bury the remains found in the catacomb. He discovers a torn shred of clothing reading "ST. TERESA DFMH".[39][3]
- Caretaker calls Ana Helstrom and tells her of his discovery, worried that her mother may be involved in the men's deaths.[39][40]
- Daimon Helstrom leaves a message on Gabriella Rosetti's phone, apologizing for potentially offending her the day before. He sits in his car, parked outside the Cavallo Residence, and watches as Mr. Cavallo takes Archer out with him.[39][3]
- Louise Hastings asks Rosetti to forgive Daimon Helstrom. Rosetti explains that the Vatican is concerned about Daimon performing exorcisms as well as having abilities potentially inherited from evil. Hastings tries to dismiss this concern, but Rosetti insists on seeing Victoria Helstrom. Hastings, however, gives her her pass, telling Rosetti to look at what is on her desk first.[39][3]
- Rosetti visits Hastings' office, where she finds a binder. Opening it, Rosetti sees Daimon Helstrom's children's home admissions placement form.[39][3]
Daimon Helstrom draws
- Rosetti looks through the form, and onto Ana Helstrom's, followed by a The Oregon Examiner article about Ana's kidnapping. Meanwhile, "Victoria" lies in her cell, still possessed. At her auction house, Ana walks carrying the Keeper Skull. At Gateway University, Daimon continues to draw.[39][3]
- Rosetti finds more articles, from The Dallas Record and other papers, detailing murders linked to the Helstrom father. She then finds a journal, which she opens. Meanwhile, "Victoria Helstrom" smiles emptily in her cell, Ana places the skull on a shelf in her auction house, and Daimon finds himself scrawling non-stop.[39][3]
- Rosetti discovers that the journal is Victoria Helstrom's from the days when her demon was taking her over, including Victoria's written exclamations at her demon in her anger and desperation. Meanwhile, Ana looks back at the shelf contemplatively, and Daimon continues to draw even after his class has left, when his page suddenly briefly combusts.[39][3]
- Hastings gets back to her office and explains to Rosetti that Victoria Helstrom was cursed, and that Ana is in San Francisco and does not get along with Daimon. She says the Helstroms have to live with the evil done to their family.[39][3]
Ana Helstrom's box
16th[]
- Rosetti asks Hastings why Daimon Helstrom cannot help his mother. Hastings explains they do not know, but that they are losing Victoria to her demon due to the strain on her body. Hastings starts coughing and finds she coughs up blood, so leaves the room, merely telling Rosetti she needs a moment. Rosetti takes the opportunity to grab Hastings' ID, left on the desk, and go to visit Victoria's cell.[39][3]
- At 23:30 on the 15th local time, Rosetti goes to the cell and lets herself in. She is attacked by "Victoria Helstrom", though tries to question her nonetheless.[39][3]
- Hastings checks the surveillance footage and sees where Rosetti has gone. She rushes to get her out.[39][3]
Gabriella Rosetti attempts to protect herself
- In the early hours, Hastings pours O'Harren's Scotch Whisky. She and Helstrom explain to Rosetti that demons feed on suffering. Hastings asks Helstrom how he knew to come, but he explains he had in fact come to show her his burned paper - that it had burned because the symbol drawn was an ideogram, which he translates as "consumption". Rosetti expresses how unsettled she is, but Helstrom reminds her she decided herself to go looking.[39][3]
- Daimon Helstrom leaves Saint Teresa's, only to find his sister waiting for him outside, having come after all. Ana says she is hoping to hear that their mother is dead.[39][3]
Basar attacks
- The Helstrom siblings visit The Blue Heron Restaurant to talk. Daimon asks why she has come now, and Ana claims she just figured things must be serious. He asks for her help trying to pull the demon out of their mother and to reconnect as siblings, but Ana is uninterested. He demands to know why she really came, and she says that if their mother is going to die, she wants permission to see her alone and get things off her chest. Daimon eventually accepts. He tells her about his ethics lecturing job and invites her to stay with him, but she leaves for her suite at The Nines Hotel[39][40]
Kevin tries to help
- Chris Yen has to give a client appraisal without Ana Helstrom. When he is asked if a battle axe they own belonged to Attila, he does not know, without her around to help.[39][40]
- Daimon Helstrom talks to Louise Hastings about Ana potentially visiting Victoria. Hastings tells him it is a bad idea.[39][40]
Chris Yen calls Ana Helstrom
- Hastings meets with Ana Helstrom, telling her that she disapproves of her visiting her mother. She insists on at least accompanying Helstrom. Helstrom threatens her, but Hastings is unfazed.[39][40]
- As Kevin drives Tilden to hospital, Tilden starts to moan and writhe in the backseat. "Tilden", in fact possessed by Magoth, suddenly attacks Kevin, causing the car to swerve as a truck comes at them.[39][40]
- "Tilden" is the only survivor of the accident, and is dying. Father Sean Okamoto is called to give last rites, but upon arrival, "Tilden" bites him. The demon inside Tilden telekinetically detaches a car side mirror and flings it at Okamoto.[39][40]
Ana Helstrom and Louise Hastings are thrown
- Gabriella Rosetti arrives at Saint Teresa's, where she receives a call about a strange phenomenon from Father Okamoto. She sees Daimon Helstrom arriving and calls to him, but he ignores her.[39][40]
Daimon and Ana Helstrom argue
- On the drive to the dying man, Daimon Helstrom explains to Rosetti that Ana did not have a career like Hastings growing up. When Rosetti asks about the Helstroms' abilities, he explains they come from their father, who was far worse than the demon inhabiting Victoria.[39][40]
- At the auction house, Chris Yen places the unsold axe on a shelf. Behind him, the cloth falls from the Keeper's Skull, and he turns and sees it. Fascinated, he walks to it and hears voices in his head. He reaches to touch it, but is interrupted by Caretaker and replaces the cloth. Caretaker asks where Ana Helstrom is, and he eventually explains what she said about dealing with personal matters. Caretaker surmises she went to Portland, to Yen's frustration. He tells Yen the axe is fake and asks whether Helstrom took "the skull", but Yen claims not to know what he is referring to.[39][40]
- Continuing to drive, Daimon Helstrom tells Rosetti that Bible quotes will not protect her from a demon and is dismissive in her belief in the power of faith, before apologizing for being too rude. Rosetti tells him she worked with the Talitha Kum to combat child trafficking, pointing out that she is not naive, having already seen the worst of humanity.[39][40]
Esther Smith meets with Caretaker
- A CEO dies, leaving his partner the sole person in charge of the company.[39][13]
- Gabriella Rosetti and Daimon Helstrom arrive and greet Father Okamoto, who explains his encounter with "Alex Tilden", and that Tilden will die the moment he is freed. Helstrom approaches, as Okamoto explains to Rosetti that Tilden's family are coming and that Helstrom needs to free Tilden's soul before he dies.[39][40]
- Ana Helstrom listens to a voicemail left by Yen, frustrated at her for not telling him where she was going. She sees Louise Hastings and insists on talking to "Victoria" again. Hastings refuses. Ana explains that she is aware of Hastings' decision to split them up as children and threatens to tell Daimon, but Hastings says she does not know what she is talking about and that "Victoria" will overwhelm her if she is not careful.[39][40]
- Daimon Helstrom and Rosetti approach "Tilden". Helstrom notes that it is a bad idea for Tilden's family to come, as they will only see Tilden possessed and once he is exorcised, he will die. He shows Rosetti the "mark" on Tilden's body, explaining that the oldest and most powerful demons mark hosts to allow other demons to possess them, then absorb the victims' energy at the point of death. He explains they should try to find whoever marked him. "Tilden" starts mocking them.[39][40]
- Hastings reluctantly accompanies Ana Helstrom in another cell visit, and Ana tries to provoke her mother's demon. She whispers that it might be better if it were just the two of them, then "Victoria" uses her power to make Hastings cough.[39][40]
Gabriella Rosetti looks at Alex Tilden
- At the Saint Teresa Center for Mental Health, Ana Helstrom decides to try discussing a shared childhood memory to prompt her mother. She recites how Father bought her a green pin when she was 8, but Victoria had slapped it out of her hand - and how she blames Victoria for staying with Father. Hastings' coughing worsens and she is forced to step out, then Victoria's demon starts to respond. Ana says she is here for her, not her actual mother.[39][40]
- Gabriella Rosetti starts praying for Alex Tilden's soul. Helstrom grabs Magoth's arm and he writhes, telekinetically moving a flare to light the spilled gasoline.[39][40]
- Assassination of Cameron Tate:
Chris Yen is influenced by the skull
- Yen hits Tate with the axe, causing him to fall. Tate tries to recover, but Yen uses the axe to pull him down by the neck, causing him to fall to the ground. Yen stabs Tate in the back. He leaves the auction house with the skull, tripping over Tate's body and leaving it behind. He closes the door to the vault, leaving behind a bit of blood and a knocked over file, and does not activate the alarm.[39][32]
- Victoria Helstrom's demon tries to play with Ana's feelings, but Ana is defiant and demands to know what the demon set loose on the world, threatening to "make her" talk if need be. Ana grabs hold of her mother to torture her, but finds herself unable to do anything. "Victoria" stands, drains her of energy, and lets her drop to the floor.[39][40]
- Daimon Helstrom faces Magoth's fire and uses his mind to part it. Meanwhile, Rosetti continues to pray for Tilden. Tilden is momentarily freed and requests she tell his family he loves them and is sorry. Magoth takes over again and warns of the one who marked him, who is coming.[39][40]
- Meanwhile, elsewhere, Basar consumes his latest victim.[39][40]
Alex Tilden is exorcised
- In her cell, "Victoria Helstrom" strokes the unconscious Ana's hair.[39][40]
- Rosetti talks to Tilden's family, then gets in the car with Helstrom, saying she only told them what they needed to hear. Helstrom notes that not everybody gets closure.[39][40]
- Ana Helstrom wakes and demands to know what was in the crypt. "Victoria" claims she sent the patients to kill what was there, not set it free, and implies the demon set loose was Ana's father, to Ana's dismay. Ana walks out in shock and fear.[39][40]
17th[]
- Massacre of Phi Gamma Epsilon:
- In the early hours,[13] Basar goes to the Phi Gamma Epsilon House at Gateway University and slaughters all of the members of the fraternity that live there. A member, Chad, runs away.[39][10]
- Chad tries to hide in several rooms, finding that all of them are locked, as Basar chases him. He comes to a locked door at the end of the hallway and pleads with Basar, saying that his parents have money and offering Basar whatever he wants. Basar kills Chad anyway.[39][10]
Basar's bloody hand
- Basar and Magoth burn down the house, making it appear to be the cause of death for the fraternity's members. The authorities arrive and declare the situation to have been an electrical fire.[39][43]
- Firefighters respond to calls about the house burning down, but find the building unsalvageable as it collapses in front of them.[39][13]
- The President of the University declares the following day to be a day of remembrance and mourning, cancelling classes and scheduling a memorial on the school's football field.[39][13]
- The United Nations concludes their week-long conference, which they believe will result in breakthroughs in anti-terrorism, migration movement, and economic security. The speaker announcing the conclusion stresses the importance of cooperation and following the Sokovia Accords.[39][13]

- The Oregon Examiner weekend edition front page reports on a fire at the Phi Gamma Epsilon house. Other articles include the increase in church attendance and the United Nations vowing a new era in global security following their cooperation on the Sokovia Accords.[39][13][10]
19th[]
- Daimon Helstrom visits Saint Teresa Center for Mental Health and discovers that Victoria is more lucid than she has been in years. Victoria asks about Ana and rambles about memories from when her children were younger.[39][10]
Daimon calls Ana Helstrom
- Ana Helstrom goes to the lobby of The Nines Hotel and finds Caretaker. She approaches him and tells him that the demon inside her mother confirmed that her father is back, saying that she plans to kill him. Caretaker says that it would be too dangerous, but Ana refuses to listen or accept help. She tells Caretaker that Daimon does not know, so Caretaker advises her not to let pride get in her way. Helstrom says that she is not motivated by pride, but rather by rage.[39][10]
- Daimon and Ana Helstrom prepare to enter Victoria's room, and Daimon suggests that Ana follow his lead. When they enter, Victoria cries with joy upon seeing Ana, happy that her children are safe, though talks as though she were in the past, reminiscing on a day of snow. Daimon plays into it, suggesting they "build a snowman", but Victoria says that there is not enough time since their father will be home soon and will be angry if they are outside. She has a breakdown, and Ana tries to leave. The demon resumes control and warns Ana that "he" is back for the "only one to escape his trap". It says that it admires Victoria's stamina and reveals that Ana knows what the warning is about, causing her to tell Daimon that their father is back, despite Daimon's insistence that his body was cremated. The demon says that he has unfinished business.[39][10]
Louise Hastings listens
- Louise Hastings returns to her office from getting medicine. She puts it in her pocket and returns to her office, finding Caretaker inside. He asks why it feels like she is avoiding him, but Hastings dismisses him, saying that she needs to check in on Victoria Helstrom. Caretaker says that he would like to as well.[39][10]
Gabriella Rosetti talks about her beliefs
- Caretaker says to Hastings that Victoria Helstrom is getting weaker while the demon gets stronger, suggesting that he take care of her. Hastings notes that Daimon has conservatorship over her and that it is not what is best for her, but Caretaker insists that they are simply putting off the inevitable.[39][10]
- As they enter the secure ward, Hastings says that she shares Caretaker's concern and that she is handling Victoria Helstrom. Caretaker explains that people are scared of Daimon and Ana being together, which could cause problems. The demon opens the door panel from inside, letting Caretaker see her before suddenly slamming it again.[39][10]
Aubree Richards opens her door
- "Zoe Richards" places her gun on her table, saying that she always has one for protection. Rosetti apologizes for bringing up past trauma, and Ana Helstrom says that she is still haunted by her own experience. Rosetti asks about what happened, and Richards "recounts" the kidnapping. Ana, suddenly uncomfortable and remembering her father's victims, asks to use the bathroom and exits the room.[39][10]
Ana Helstrom sneaks around the house
- "Zoe Richards" continues to talk about "her" experience, and Rosetti comforts her. They are interrupted when Ana Helstrom comes downstairs and asks for specific details, demanding to know what she is hiding. Helstrom accuses Richards of lying and grabs her arm, trying to find the truth, prompting Richards to kick them out. Richards grabs her gun and the trio leave.[39][10]
- Outside, Daimon Helstrom states they should have been honest with Richards, and Rosetti asks why Ana grabbed "her" arm. Daimon asks if she sensed anything, but Ana says she did not because she was not finished. Daimon explains to Rosetti that Ana can read people, and Ana insists that Richards could not have escaped, since she watched their father burn Zoe Richards alive. Ana walks off, upset at not being believed.[39][10]
- Magoth approaches Zoe and Aubree Richards, offering them a chance to get revenge against Ana Helstrom. He asks Aubree to lead her into a trap, where someone strong enough will kill her.[39][10]
- Tooms watches Caretaker as he asks Louise Hastings when the Helstrom siblings will return, and she says she does not know. When he asks if she is hiding the truth from him again, Hastings says that she is going to lunch. Caretaker asks to join, and Hastings invites him to go to a taco truck with him.[39][10]
Kthara floats
- Attack on Caretaker: As the building is evacuated, Tooms shoves Caretaker against a window and attempts to choke him. Caretaker fights back and Hastings rushes to help him, but gets pushed to the ground. Caretaker punches Tooms repeatedly and pushes him to the ground, after which he is taken by security guards.[39][10]
- Caretaker helps Hastings to her feet and asks if she is alright, and Hastings says that she is. He notices that she has dropped something, and, picking it up, sees that it is medicine. Hastings silently takes it back and walks away.[39][10]
- Ana Helstrom lays in her hotel room bed, remembering holding her father's knife while he tortured a victim. She remembers the demon inside her mother saying that her father would leave "no stone unturned".[39][10]
Gabriella Rosetti and Daimon Helstrom sit at a diner
- Ana Helstrom visits a dance club, looking for someone.[39][10]
- Hastings and Caretaker sit in Hastings' office, and she says that the patient who attacked him is not normally violent. Caretaker realizes that it is the result of manipulations from the demon inside Victoria Helstrom. He insists that Hastings talk about her condition, having deduced that it is cancer. She shares that it is lung cancer, and that Rosetti is intended to replace her. Caretaker shares his concerns for Hastings, and she acknowledges that she should have told him. - ↑ 2.0 2.1 2.2 In Viaticum, a news report on Edward Tate's fake suicide note says, “The note mentions the names of three women who were violently murdered in the Bay Area, all in the last eight months.” These three murders can be distributed evenly across the three month period leading up to Tate's death on October 13, 2020 (see 2020 references). In Mother's Little Helpers, Ana Helstrom says that Tate killed seven women in total. It can be taken that the remaining four women were killed at the same rate as the most recent three, allowing them to be distributed working back through his first murder, March 25, 2019.

- ↑ 4.0 4.1 4.2 In We Interrupt This Program, Dr. Highland says that Maria Rambeau died “three years ago” shortly after Hulk snapped his fingers to resurrect those who died in the Snap on October 17, 2023 (see 2023 references). This could mean “exactly three years ago,” meaning she died on October 17, 2020, or a more general 2023 - 3 = 2020, meaning anytime during the year. A weighted average, putting more weight on the more specific, places Rambeau's death on September 11, 2020. Highland also says that her death was “two years after” Monica Rambeau died as a result of Thanos snapping his fingers, which happened on May 31, 2018 (see 2018 references). Applying the same process, this would place Maria's death on approximately June 10, 2020. Finding the average of these two dates, Maria Rambeau died on approximately July 26, 2020.
The Marvels reveals a conversation between Maria and Carol Danvers after Maria's relapse but before her death. Cancers that are going to relapse tend to do so within the first two years. Rambeau is only now telling Danvers, suggesting the relapse was recent but also that she is likely to die soon. The relapse and conversation can be distributed between the start of 2020, placing the relapse on March 10 and the conversation on May 19, 2020. - ↑ 5.0 5.1 5.2 WandaVision: 1.04: We Interrupt This Program

- ↑ In The One Who Got Away, it is said on October 19, 2020 (see other references) that Louise Hastings has not contacted Caretaker in "months." This can refer to a minimum of two months and a maximum of eleven months before it becomes "in a year." Hastings contacting Caretaker can therefore be taken to have been at the midpoint of this time, April 4, 2020, which aligns with being before Hastings began isolating herself due to her cancer diagnosis.

- ↑ 12.0 12.1 In The Oregon Examiner newspaper, the study which found increased church attendance is described as "new." The newspaper was published on October 18, 2020 (see other references), so it can be taken that the study would have been published within October and before October 17, the day the stories would have been written by. The publication of the study can therefore be taken to have been published at the midpoint of this range, October 9, 2020. The article also says that the survey was taken "over the past six months." A weighted calculation places the start of the survey on April 11, 2020.

- ↑ In Hell Storm, Daimon Helstrom says Louise Hastings had been hiding her cancer from him for "six months." Helstrom learned on October 29, 2020 (see other references), meaning Hastings would have learned in April 2020. This can refer to an exact six months, which would place it on April 29, 2020, or more broadly "in April 2020." A weighted calculations, placing more weight on the more specific, places Hastings' diagnosis on April 24, 2020.
- ↑ 15.0 15.1 15.2 In What We're Fighting For, flashbacks are shown of Leo Fitz and Jemma Simmons' life following their move to Theta Serpentis on July 4, 2019 (see 2019 references). They spent 4 years together, suggesting they jumped back in time around July 2023. It can be taken as a specific 4 years, so roughly July 4, 2023, or a more general "2023 - 2019 = 4", so any time in 2023 (approximating with mid-year). Putting more weight on the more specific, it can be approximated to July 3, 2023. This is suitable, given Leo and Simmons have been celebrating Alya's birthday, and if they have traveled a near exact number of years, this means Alya's birthday aligns closely with the date on which she becomes a year older, simplifying her birthday.
Harlow Happy Hexum was 4 years and 10 months old during filming, suggesting Alya is around 4 in the 2023 and returned-to-2019 scenes, and 5 in the following 2020 epilogue scene. However, Alya was conceived no earlier than July 2019, meaning she was born no earlier than early 2020, thus maximum 3. So, for her to be as close as realistically possible to 4, she should indeed be born in early/mid-2020. On average, a pregnant woman finds out they are pregnant about 245 days before birth. In Brand New Day, a flashback is shown to just after Simmons has found out she is pregnant, and is implied to have been a while after they began their work. Assuming it is at least 3 months, but taking it as no more than 3 months due to wanting to maximize Alya's age, that scene may be approximated to October 4, 2019, and thus Simmons finding out her pregnancy around October 1, 2019, finally therefore meaning Alya was born around early June 2020 (roughly June 2nd). This is suitable, as in What We're Fighting For it is seemingly implied in July that her birthday has been in recent month.
It can be assumed that Fitz starting to study the Time Stream is July 5, 2019, and then the scenes of the montage shown between then and the scene approximated to October 4, 2019 can be evenly distributed to July 23rd, August 10th, August 29th, and September 16th. At some point between July 5, 2019 and July 3, 2023 during the studying of the Time Stream, Fitz finds out about Kora's importance and the team being together for the final time in the speakeasy. This may be approximated to the midpoint, July 2021.
Simmons appears to be about a month from birth when Leo makes her the tea, so roughly May 2, 2020. Alya appears to be about 4 months old as the family watch a film, suggesting it is around October 2-November 1, 2020, so October 17, 2020. She is about the same age when they look at the stars together as when they time travel back to 2019, so this can be taken to be shortly before in 2023 - around a week prior, so June 26, 2023. - ↑ 16.0 16.1 Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
- ↑ 17.0 17.1 In Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Xu Xialing says that she waited "six years" before running away and founding her club. Her brother was supposed to return on April 30, 2014, so Xialing could have been referring to an exact six years, so April 30, 2020, or more generally "during 2020." A weighted calculation, placing more weight on the more specific, places Xu leaving on May 20, 2020. Given travel time and time to recover, Xu can be taken to have founded her club approximately four days later.
- ↑ Ms. Marvel: 1.01: Generation Why
- ↑ In Generation Why, Kamala Khan is shown to have eanred the Junior Aide Award from the Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts are Juniors in fourth and fifth grade, so Khan can be approximated to have been presented this award in a ceremony at the end of the school year in fifth grade. With Khan's birth approximated to March 2009 (see 2000s references), she can be taken to have received the award in June 2020.
- ↑ In Mother's Little Helpers, it is said that Archer Cavallo had been pretending to be possessed for "several months" as of November 3, 2020 (see other references). "Several" typically refers to between three and five, so the midpoint of three and five months prior to this point can be taken. This places the start of Cavallo's trick on July 3, 2020.

The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Instagram confirmed this is set in 2020.
- ↑ In Mother's Little Helpers, Louise Hastings writes "Despite the natural progressions Jane had taken toward recovery the past three months" on October 13, 2020 (see other references). - ↑ In Mother's Little Helpers, Louise Hastings says that Gabriella Rosetti started working at Saint Teresa Center for Mental Health "a couple months ago." This generally refers to two months ago, so it can be placed in the midpoint of the second month prior to this line being said, July 29, 2020.

They can therefore be taken to have learned about Tate at the midpoint of these dates, .

A weighted calculation, putting more weight on the more specific, places the adoption on September 11, 2020.
- ↑ In The One Who Got Away, Gabriella Rosetti says that it has been "one month" since her last confession on October 20, 2020 (see other references). A weighted calculation would place this on September 20, 2020.

- ↑ In Spider-Man: Far From Home, the film Finding Wakanda is shown to exist by June 27, 2024 (see 2024 references). This would be made after the events of July 9, 2016 (see 2016 references). It would take at least half a year to have been released, meaning it was released between January 10, 2017, and June 27, 2024. So, its release may be approximated to the midpoint of October 4, 2020. With most films releasing on a Friday, it may be approximated to the nearest Friday: October 2, 2020.
- ↑ Spider-Man: Far From Home
- ↑ 35.0 35.1 In Mother's Little Helpers, Steven is described as having "just" returned from his honeymoon. This can realistically be referring to between one and three days before his death on October 13, 2020 (see other references). His return can therefore be approximated to November 1, 2020. The average honeymoon is seven days, so the start of the trip can be approximated to October 25, 2020.
- ↑ In The Oregon Examiner newspaper, the United Nations conference is referred to as having been one week long. It concluded on October 17, 2020 (see other references), and can therefore be taken to have began seven days prior, on October 10, 2020.
- ↑ Hawkeye: 1.01: Never Meet Your Heroes
- ↑ The opening credits of Never Meet Your Heroes shows a montage of events in Kate Bishop's life. These events are:
- Eleanor Bishop giving Kate a bow and arrow
- Eleanor watching as Kate fires and hits a target twice
- Kate placing a picture of her and Derek on a shelf
- Kate placing a trophy on a shelf
- Kate firing three arrows at two targets
- Kate eating dinner with Eleanor at a young age
- Kate eating dinner with Eleanor while older
- Kate firing an arrow
- Kate achieving third place in a fencing tournament
- Seventeen ribbons and trophies sitting on Kate's shelf
- Eleanor placing her hand on Kate's shoulder as Kate fires an arrow
- Kate achieving second place in a fencing tournament
- Kate as a yellow belt fighting a black belt in karate
- Kate losing a fencing match
- Kate touching her opponent in a fencing tournament
- Kate as a black belt
- Kate doing a flip on a bar
- Kate firing three arrows at three different targets
- Kate making first place in a fencing tournament
- Kate standing on a balance beam on one foot
- Kate standing on the roof of a building on one foot and jumping onto another building
In Never Meet Your Heroes, Eleanor says to Kate, "I still remember when you got your black belt at 15." This event is dated to December 15, 2017 (see 2017 references). It takes approximately 54 months to earn a black belt. However, in Hide and Seek, Kate says, "I, uh, started martial arts training when I was five." It must therefore be taken that she started at five, but did not take it seriously until after she decided she would protect her family in 2012. Using 54 months prior to when she earned her black belt, June 2013, as a starting point, Kate would have earned her yellow belt at the 3 month mark, in September 2013. She would have earned her orange belt, therefore ending her time as a yellow belt, that December. This fight can therefore be approximated to the midpoint of these dates, October 15, 2013. The scenes preceding this scene can therefore be evenly distributed between May 10, 2012 and October 15, 2013. Similarly, the scenes that follow this scene can be evenly distributed between October 15, 2013, and the start of the present day events, December 19, 2024 (see 2024 references), while keeping events clear of events given more specific dates. - ↑ 39.000 39.001 39.002 39.003 39.004 39.005 39.006 39.007 39.008 39.009 39.010 39.011 39.012 39.013 39.014 39.015 39.016 39.017 39.018 39.019 39.020 39.021 39.022 39.023 39.024 39.025 39.026 39.027 39.028 39.029 39.030 39.031 39.032 39.033 39.034 39.035 39.036 39.037 39.038 39.039 39.040 39.041 39.042 39.043 39.044 39.045 39.046 39.047 39.048 39.049 39.050 39.051 39.052 39.053 39.054 39.055 39.056 39.057 39.058 39.059 39.060 39.061 39.062 39.063 39.064 39.065 39.066 39.067 39.068 39.069 39.070 39.071 39.072 39.073 39.074 39.075 39.076 39.077 39.078 39.079 39.080 39.081 39.082 39.083 39.084 39.085 39.086 39.087 39.088 39.089 39.090 39.091 39.092 39.093 39.094 39.095 39.096 39.097 39.098 39.099 39.100 39.101 39.102 39.103 39.104 39.105 39.106 39.107 39.108 39.109 39.110 39.111 39.112 39.113 39.114 39.115 39.116 39.117 39.118 39.119 39.120 39.121 39.122 39.123 39.124 39.125 39.126 39.127 39.128 39.129 39.130 39.131 39.132 39.133 39.134 39.135 39.136 39.137 39.138 39.139 39.140 39.141 39.142 39.143 39.144 39.145 39.146 39.147 39.148 39.149 39.150 39.151 39.152 39.153 39.154 39.155 39.156 39.157 39.158 39.159 39.160 39.161 39.162 39.163 39.164 39.165 39.166 39.167 39.168 39.169 39.170 39.171 39.172 39.173 39.174 39.175 39.176 39.177 39.178 39.179 39.180 39.181 39.182 39.183 39.184 39.185 39.186 39.187 39.188 39.189 39.190 39.191 39.192 39.193 39.194 39.195 39.196 39.197 39.198 39.199 39.200 39.201 39.202 39.203 39.204 39.205 39.206 39.207 39.208 39.209 39.210 39.211 39.212 39.213 39.214 39.215 39.216 39.217 39.218 39.219 39.220 39.221 39.222 39.223 39.224 39.225 39.226 39.227 39.228 39.229 39.230 39.231 39.232 39.233 39.234 39.235 39.236 39.237 39.238 39.239 39.240 39.241 39.242 39.243 39.244 39.245 39.246 39.247 39.248 39.249 39.250 39.251 39.252 39.253 39.254 39.255 39.256 39.257 39.258 39.259 39.260 39.261 39.262 39.263 39.264 39.265 39.266 39.267 39.268 39.269 39.270 39.271 39.272 39.273 39.274 39.275 39.276 39.277 39.278 39.279 39.280 39.281 39.282 39.283 39.284 39.285 39.286 39.287 39.288 39.289 39.290 39.291 39.292 39.293 39.294 39.295 39.296 39.297 39.298 39.299 39.300 39.301 39.302 39.303 39.304 39.305 39.306 39.307 39.308 39.309 39.310 39.311 39.312 39.313 39.314 39.315 39.316 39.317 39.318 39.319 39.320 39.321 39.322 39.323 39.324 39.325 39.326 39.327 39.328 39.329 39.330 39.331 39.332 39.333 39.334 39.335 39.336 39.337 39.338 39.339 39.340 39.341 39.342 39.343 39.344 39.345 39.346 39.347 39.348 39.349 39.350 39.351 39.352 39.353 39.354 39.355 39.356 39.357 39.358 39.359 39.360 39.361 39.362 39.363 39.364 39.365 39.366 39.367 39.368 39.369 39.370 39.371 39.372 39.373 39.374 39.375 39.376 39.377 39.378 39.379 39.380 39.381 39.382 39.383 39.384 39.385 39.386 39.387 39.388 39.389 39.390 39.391 39.392 39.393 39.394 39.395 39.396 39.397 39.398 39.399 39.400 39.401 39.402 39.403 39.404 39.405 39.406 39.407 39.408 39.409 39.410 39.411 39.412 39.413 39.414 39.415 39.416 39.417 39.418 39.419 39.420 39.421 39.422 39.423 39.424 39.425 39.426 39.427 39.428 39.429 39.430 39.431 39.432 39.433 39.434 39.435 39.436 39.437 39.438 39.439 39.440 39.441 39.442 39.443 39.444 39.445 39.446 39.447 39.448 39.449 39.450 39.451 39.452 39.453 39.454 39.455 39.456 39.457 39.458 39.459 39.460 39.461 39.462 39.463 39.464 39.465 39.466 39.467 39.468 39.469 39.470 39.471 39.472 39.473 39.474 39.475 39.476 39.477 39.478 39.479 39.480 39.481 39.482 39.483 39.484 39.485 39.486 39.487 39.488 39.489 39.490 39.491 39.492 39.493 39.494 39.495 39.496 39.497 39.498 39.499 39.500 39.501 39.502 39.503 39.504 39.505 39.506 Throughout Helstrom Season 1, it is said in dialogue and shown in title cards that there were “TWENTY YEARS” between the events surrounding Ana Helstrom's kidnapping and the present day events of the season. The latest event referred to as twenty years prior on a title card is Caretaker and Louise Hastings deciding to separate Daimon and Ana Helstrom. A car is shown to have a registration that expires at some time in 2022, making the only possible years for the main events to be set 2020-2022. However, the precise timing of these events has several pieces of contradictory evidence.
In Mother's Little Helpers, a newspaper about Zoe Richards' kidnapping, which occurred during Ana's, is shown with a slightly obscured date. This newspaper was released on Hulu's website with the date clear, reading “SUNDAY OCT 15, 2000,” with weekdays that align with what Aubree Richards describes on behalf of Zoe in The One Who Got Away. Furthermore, another newspaper prop features an article which mentions a United States President's “re-election bid,” suggesting that it is before the 2020 election. Another prop shows that the medicine Hastings is taking to treat her cancer expires in March 2021, suggesting the series is set before then. However, a calendar labeled “October” in flashbacks shown in Committed aligns with October 2001, not October 2000. Despite the calendar being the most clearly shown in the series itself, it can be taken that the series is set in 2020, and that Ana was kidnapped in 2000.
The newspaper prop suggests that it is October by mentioning a Pumpkin Extravaganza and advertising an event for the beginning of November. The prop uses articles similar to a newspaper that released October 19, 2019, so it can be taken that the Saturday closest to October 19, 2020 as the day for that newspaper's release, October 17, 2020. Working from there, it can be taken that the events of Helstrom Season 1 span from October 13-30, 2020.
Ana is implied to have spent a significant amount of time with Marduk Kurios following her kidnapping, and Zoe Richards is referred to as the last possible attack before Kurios apparently died in Ana's escape. However, Ana saw the end of Richards' kidnapping and subsequent burning, and flashbacks to her escape show her fleeing before the victim that Ana was with was released. Furthermore, in Mother's Little Helpers, Daimon Helstrom's file says that he was in a care facility prior to Saint Teresa Center for Mental Health for four months, which would push the flashback where Caretaker and Hastings decide to separate the siblings into March 2001 at the earliest given that Daimon is in Saint Teresa's during that flashback and the calendar in the Committed flashback which shows Daimon has committed is completely crossed out, including the week beyond the end of October as well as twelve extra X's on the wall, making the date November 22, 2000. Ana is kidnapped during the day and appears to be wearing pijamas, suggesting that it is the weekend as Ana does not have school. To create as much time as possible between Ana's kidnapping and the Richards incident, it can be taken that Ana was kidnapped on September 17, 2000. With the Richards incident dated to October 15, 2000 by the newspaper, the incident at the Willamette River as shown by one of Hastings' files released on Hulu's website and in flashbacks in Viaticum and the architect's murder shown in another of Hastings' files can be distributed between those dates, placing the Willamette River incident on September 26 and the architect's murder on October 5th.
To be accurately described as four months of treatment at another care facility, Daimon's transfer must have occurred after March 23, 2001, since Helstrom's commitment to care occurred on November 23, 2000 (see 2000s references). To keep this within the fourth month since his care started, his transfer can be approximated to the midpoint between then and the end of March, placing it on March 28. Daimon has apparently been at Saint Teresa's for some time by the time he and Ana were separated, which appears to be soon after her rescue. While discusing separating them, Caretaker says that Ana has been cleared to enter the system, wihch a psychological evaluation form released on Hulu's website said occurred after “several weeks” of psychological analysis at Saint Teresa's. To balance these implications, Ana can be approximated to have escaped Kurios and been found by Caretaker one week following Daimon's transfer, placing it on April 4, 2001, then Daimon and Ana being separated can be taken to have occured around two weeks after that, April 18, 2001. This places Daimon at Saint Teresa's for three weeks by the time of the flashbacks, fitting with the implication that he had been there for some time. - ↑ 40.00 40.01 40.02 40.03 40.04 40.05 40.06 40.07 40.08 40.09 40.10 40.11 40.12 40.13 40.14 40.15 40.16 40.17 40.18 40.19 40.20 40.21 40.22 40.23 40.24 40.25 40.26 40.27 40.28 40.29 40.30 40.31 40.32 40.33 40.34 40.35 Helstrom: 1.02: Viaticum
