lisa frankenstein (2024) review!!! (shitty one lol)

lumemiruuuuuuuuuuuhello everyone!! b4 continuing this will have spoilers for the movie, so pls take that into account :).
this movie was a gift to my “slightly weird-teen-girl” heart, IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME. tbh im a sucker for well-made coming of age films (i have experienced evolution from the time i was obssessed with netflix teen romcoms ;-;, even if those are kinda funny), AND MAN THIS FUCKING ROCKED. first of all, the color pallete: the scenarios made of greens and pinks, the neon lights, how lisa’s red and black color palette contrasted with everything…speaking of lisa, WHAT A FUCKING QUEEN, my girl got herself a loving boyfriend, hid murders, had sex, did some cool ass science shit and looked gorgeous in the process, shes kinda literally me but 100x cooler tbh. it was very funny and wild too, most of the plot was pretty nice (specially when the plot of killing people to get body parts developed), and i rlly enjoyed it :D!!! i wanna draw lisa so bad ;-;.
i dont have some analysis going on rn tbh, since i usually dont focus on that on my first watch of a film, but i do think that some stuff (such as lisa’s whole arc of becoming more confident on herself and her escape with her bf) was slightly taken out of nowhere, i mean, it wasnt abrupt as hell (maybe bc i already knew that was abt to happen), but it could’ve had more substance to it, and the first part had a weird pacing (but maybe it was bc lisa was drugged tbh). i want to watch it again to recollect my thoughts of it.
maybe is just the fact that im 14 and chronically online, BUT I FUCKING LOVED THIS :D!!1
