• Glaurung the Dragon leaves Angband for the first time and ravages Beleriand, against Morgoth's wishes, but is defeated by Fingon and driven back.
• Azaghâl receives the Dragon-helm from Telchar.
• The period of the Long Peace begins. It would last for another 200 years.
