The Coast-guard was a force of Faithful Númenóreans stationed on the coasts of Gondor[1] during the late Second Age.[2]
History[]
After the Downfall of Númenor and the founding of the Realms in Exile, the Gondorians maintained a Coast-guard about the coast. Though its numbers and time of origin are untold, it is known that at least one Coast-guard force existed at the end of the promontory of Andrast, despite the region having no permanent settlements since it lay beyond the Lefnui, the western border of Gondor.[2]
