zoë rose bryant’s review published on Letterboxd:
The ending of this is so perfect that it’s almost a thing of alchemy. Proooobably the most fitting and fulfilling conclusion I’ve *ever* personally seen in any film.
That final smile/nod from both Mia and Sebastian effectively ends both their arcs and the connection from their relationship in a way that feels appropriate for the story and somehow manages to speak to a greater truth about love, sacrifice, and the price of attaining our dreams.
I love pretty much everything about this movie and I’ll never apologize for it. I could write about it for days, but I think this is enough for tonight.
“Is this the start of something wonderful and new? Or one more dream that I cannot make true?”
