Walking home after seeing my #1 film of the year for the second time i started singing Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits for some unknown reason.I realized the lyrics were apt for what i was feeling deep inside. I have never been loved in my life to be honest and vice versa. i have always chosen lust every single time. But if i ever do fall in love i want to woo and be wooed in the exact same fashion. I am a dreamer and i always will be. Emma Stone made me cry literally. Gosling has been my man crush ever since i saw Drive and here he is the perfect foil to the leading lady. Every song is rendered with utmost joy. The dance numbers are stupendous. the energy is relentless. I have seen many endings which have given me different feelings but this one, oh boy left me numb with happiness and sadness at the same time.So many unforgettable moments like the dance among the stars,Emma dancing so seductively with simple dance moves.Kudos to the bravura editing.A candy colored infused fantasy which just kept on rewinding in my mind.A modern classic is born.Thank you Chazelle and Team!
