Sometimes even a church service in a movie is enough to do it to me, and today it did. It wasn’t in the sermons which resemble apostolic, Pentecostal, or even southern Baptist (which I’m not too fond of), but it was seeing people feeling belonging, and wanting to change and be part of something bigger than them, that reminded me of where I come from and of things that are still dear to me.

I wasn’t sure it would happen. But Terriifier has turned into a hell of a movie.
The first didn’t work for me, feeling too cheap with a few really nasty kills that impressed me. The second had me on the first go, but often felt like it ran out of steam and got melodramatic. Though I still liked it for what it had going for it on such a small budget.

Not what I would have expected at all. After it being in theaters earlier other places than in Utah, I started to hear about its unconventional nature, and how for such a long movie it seemed incomplete. After hearing that I guess I was well prepared for how strange this movie would be, but it’s sort of both that and not.
