Can't believe I've seen this twice now but it's honestly really fun and Knoxville and Chan do have good chemistry together which provides a rampage of solid gags.

This is pure Hong Kong action at it's finest and the gags in this movie are pretty top shelf, I highly recommend just about any Jackie Chan movie frankly.

2019 was a year for insanity in film, The Lighthouse standing out particularly for it's sense of isolation and abandonment. This uses both humour and terror as an observation on both the external and internal depths of approaching madness. The dedicated performances from Pattinson and Dafoe are what really make this movie, but the choice of shooting it like a film from the turn of the 20th century greatly contributes to the overall atmosphere of stranded misery. Highly recommended.
