No Man Is a Failure Who Has Friends.
I loved experiencing It’s a Wonderful Life on the big screen for the first time (yep) especially after the year we've had.
A wonderfully warming and truly timeless story about the effect one person's life can have on those around them. I was glad to watch this in a cinema environment as it forced my attention in moments when it could have been drifting in a home environment. I was also surprised at the film's structure, expecting the "I'd wish I'd never been born!" element to come much sooner than it did. The pacing and length of the film almost became a negative but the experience of the feelgood magical finale was elevated by living in Bedford Falls for a few hours.
I am ashamed that it took me until this year to see this but I cannot wait to rewatch this for years to come.
