Ich habe eben gerade erst diesen Klassiker nachgeholt und Hell Yeah! dieser film ist nah zu perfekt! die Dialoge und Erscheinung beim ersten zusammen treffen mit Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins) haben mich so umgehauen vor allem Hopkins schauspielerische Leistung ist on the Top! dieser film hat wirklich so viel zu bieten was Atmosphäre und Spannung angeht... lange ist es her das mich ein film so fasziniert hat!!!

such dark and gritty vibes, that even the last light in the tunnel is suffocated... this film seems so real and authentic that it doesn't feel like a film, almost like a documentary that accompanies the life of a serial killer and then this dreary emptiness and emotionlessness almost lets you as a viewer fall into a melancholic state.
definitely an unscrupulous classic that every horror fan should have seen!
